Bab 78: Skill Extraction

Rei, the fearsome and proud warrior, stands before the crowd. He looks at Johan, a serious look in his eyes. "Johan has surpassed me," he declares. Everyone gasps. The words hang in the air like a storm cloud.

Rei, usually so confident and strong, admits that Johan is now stronger. Everyone is very quiet. They're shocked! Rei and Johan have been rivals for a long time. But now, Rei says Johan is better. This is a big deal!

Rei feels many things. He's sad because he lost. He's a little bit angry, too. But more than that, he respects Johan. He also feels strong inside. He wants to become better. He wants to beat Johan one day.

Johan listens to Rei. He's surprised but also pleased. 'Well, that's a first,' he thinks. 'Never thought I'd hear Rei admit I'm better.' He grins at Rei, saying, "Thanks, Rei. I know it wasn't easy for you to say that."
