Bab 48: Abaxxios, The Pestilent Defiler (IV)

Abaxxios's laughter echoed across the barren fields. With a single sweep, more would die. With a single roar they were paralyzed with fear. It was a slaughter. A thick stench of blood wafted across the air mixing with the nauseating stench of rot and decay.

"Is this the best you could offer?" He said while his laughter echoed. One filled with derision and contempt. "Foolish mongrels! Look how comparable you are to ants!" 

Haruki scanned the battlefield. He saw countless of adventurers injured and unable to stand. Although they came here with an army, it would seem numbers won't do them any good. He sighed as he stared at Rhistel who was still firing arrows towards the dragon, dealing no damage.
