"So if he is a demon, how did he end up as your guardian?" Ellie threw another question, unknowingly dispelling the growing tension because Storm wasn't ready to go into details while giving her answers.

"Do you want to continue asking questions or do you want to go shopping with me?" Storm asked back, throwing Ellie off track.

"Shopping?" Ellie inquired, puzzled.

"Yeah, shopping. I need to get some things for a friend in the hospital and I think you are the perfect companion since you will know what's best for him, and select the right sizes." Storm elucidated

"Me?" Ellie asked, tilting her head to the side. "Why would you think so? I don't even know this person so how am I in the best position to chose the right things in the right sizes? Moreover, I've never shopped for a man before unless if the friend is a woman."

"He's a boy, and you know him. He's five, currently relearning how to walk and his name is Nicholas."
