Bab 62: I give up

"Ellie, wake up. Ellie," Mary shook Ellie's shoulders to wake her up from the slumber she fell into almost immediately after she returned to the room that afternoon. 

They had thought she would stay awake and discuss or at least ask questions the way she normally does, but that didn't happen. After getting a little advice from them concerning disrespecting the direct servants, she just nodded in agreement and fell into a deep sleep soon after. 

Ellie's eyes cracked open due to the disturbance. She adjusted her body so she could see who was disturbing her sleep. She was exhausted, and just wanted to keep sleeping, as that was the best way to deal with all the stress she had been through the past few days. 

Knowing she would struggle to sleep at night was another reason she needed to get enough sleep now that it was freely available. But that was no longer possible as she was already awake.
