Bab 43: Wow me

Storm's feet came to an abrupt halt a few meters before he reached the palace gate. His brows pulled together and his eyes narrowed for a moment, but he did not move for a while as his eyes made a quick switch from gray to green, and then back to gray.

"What now? What do you want?" He muttered, his expression twisting into one of irritation. A few seconds later, he resumed walking, slowly this time, until he reached the palace. 

Walking in with Ellie safely wrapped in his arms, he met a worried-looking Seth, standing by the gate with a small device in his hand.

"What is it?" Storm probed without stopping.

"Green alert."

"I know."

"Are you going?"

"Yes. Get Enrique here, and tell Asaph to get my cloak ready. He should bring it to my room in five minutes." Storm instructed, and Seth nodded. He immediately went to carry out the instructions.
