Invitation
"Ahhhh! We're finally here, my butt's numb from all of that sitting." Luffy stretched and grinned in satisfaction. He looked at Koby who was standing beside him silently.
"Koby, you're amazing at navigation! You actually got us to our destination." Luffy praised.
"Of course I did! That's the minimum requirement for someone who wants to sail the seas. " Koby replied. Luffy chuckled.
" I'm really bad at it, so that's why having a navigator in my crew is a must. I'll worry about it later, let's eat! "
Luffy and Koby started walking around Shells Town. Shells Town is located in the Yotsuba Island Region of East Blue. It is covered with power plant-shaped towers that shoot cannons.
There are two notable places in the town. The 153rd Branch is a Marine base at Shells Town and the seat of the 153rd Marine Branch in East Blue. And then there's a place called Food Foo, which is a local restaurant and the one Luffy and Koby just entered.
After eating a hearty meal with Koby and paying for it, Luffy sighed and patted his stomach in satisfaction. He smiled at Koby.
"Well Koby, I guess this is where we part ways. I hope you're successful in joining the navy and becoming a sailor." Luffy wished him luck. Koby started crying.
" Th-thank you Luffy-san! And I hope you become a great pirate! Even if that means we'll be enemies. " Koby sobbed out.
"Hang on, that guy, Roronoa Zoro—
*CRASH!!!!*
Luffy and Koby looked around them to see tables, plates and people flying everywhere. They were looking at him while trembling.
"Maybe you shouldn't say that name out loud around here. " Koby advised by whispering to him. Luffy hummed.
" What's so scary about a name? These people are wimps. " Luffy grumbled. Koby cleared his throat and smiled apologetically at the rest of the customers.
" Anyways, I saw a poster that said that Captain Morgan is at this base. " Koby commented.
*CRASH!!!*
The two looked at the customers again who were tumbling around the restaurant.

"Hahahahaha!!! That was a great restaurant! I wanna go back there again! " Luffy laughed. Koby was concerned.
" Everyone was so jumpy when we mentioned those two. I can understand why with Zoro's name, but why Captain Morgan's? " He wondered. Luffy hummed.
" I think the phrase 'Don't judge a book by its cover' works really well to the situation we found ourselves in right now. Who knows, Captain Morgan is an evil person. " Luffy guessed.
" B-but why would a captain be evil? Isn't a marine supposed to be righteous and fight for justice? " Koby asked as they were heading towards the navy base.
"Again, don't judge a book by its cover. Not everyone is a good person. I mean, you saw how they reacted when you mentioned Captain Morgan's name. " Luffy advised, leaving Koby to his own thoughts.
They arrived in front of the gates to the navy base. "Wow, it looks so big up close." Koby commented. Luffy patted Koby's back.
" Go on in, Koby." Luffy encouraged him. Kobe shook his head.
"B+but I haven't mentally prepared myself yet and those people were scared when they heard the Captain's name. " Koby gave an excuse. Luffy chuckled and stood in front of a brick wall.
He started climbing over it. Koby panicked.
"Ah! Luffy-san! What are you doing?" Koby asked him.
" I wonder if I can see Zoro from here. " Luffy muttered while peeking over the wall. He got down and ran to the other side of the wall.
"Well, you won't find him just by peeking over the walls. He's probably deep within the bowels of the prison. " Koby pointed out.
" Oh yeah? Well there's somebody over there." Luffy revealed, surprising Kobe. He peeked over the wall again, Kobe did the same but he was struggling to hang on.
Kobe widened his eyes and fell down to the ground.
"What's wrong?" Luffy asked him.
"A black bandana and a haramaki sash. I-it's really her! It's Roronoa Zoro!! He looks so menacing!!" Kobe replied. Luffy hummed and looked back at what Koby saw.
He saw a bloodied man being tied to a pole. He was a muscular man of average height with lightly tanned skin.
He was wearing black trousers tucked inside black boots, a plain white shirt with three undone buttons at the collar and his green haramaki. That person was Roronoa Zoro, also known as 'Pirate Hunter' Zoro.
"Eh. He looks like a normal guy to me. Nothing special." Luffy commented, making Koby's jaw drop. Zoro seemed to hear Luffy's comment and looked at him.
Zoro grinned at him. "Hey, come over here and untie me. I've been here for days and I can't take anymore. I'll capture someone with a big price on their head and give all of the bounty to you. You can trust me, I'm a woman of my word. " He explained.
" Don't do it Luffy-san! He'll kill us and wreck the town! " Koby panicked. Luffy grinned.
" He would have to go through me first. I wouldn't let him do that in the first place." Luffy replied calmly.
" Huh?! " Zoro hummed and looked at Luffy with an interested gaze.
'Is this guy saying that he can take me on and win? Is he overconfident or is that facts? ' Zoro wondered in his mind.
Suddenly, someone put a ladder beside Koby. He and Luffy looked to see it was a little girl that brought the ladder.
She was a young girl with black eyes, and dark hair done in pigtails. She wore a striped one-piece dress with what appeared to be a drawstring hood.
Her name was Rika and she is the daughter of Ririka, a bartender who runs a local bar in Shells Town.
"Shh!!" Rika shushed them and jumped down to the large field where Zoro was being tied up.
Zoro looked down at her. "What do you want?" He asked her. Koby looked at Luffy.
" Luffy-san, do something or she'll be killed! " Koby told him. Luffy held up a hand.
" Wait, she's giving him something. " Luffy muttered, making Koby look at what's happening again.
"Get lost! Do you want to get killed?" Zoro threatened her but Rika was unaffected by it. She smiled as she held up two onigiri.
"I made these rice balls for you! I thought you might need some food! It's the first time I've ever made rice balls, I hope you like them." Rika explained.
" I'm not hungry! Now beat it and take that stuff with you! " Zoro denied her help. Rika frowned a little.
" B-but—
" I don't want it!!! Now get outta here or I'll stomp you to death!!" She shouted.
*KLANK!!!*
A gate opened, a person with two Marine bodyguards walked in.
"Roronoa Zoro!! You shouldn't pick on little girls, I'll tell my father about you!"
