Bab 7: The Amber Palace
The guards brought Leia out of the prison carriage.
With her head bow down, she was brought upon and stood quite closely to the drunken Prince Archilles.
Slouching on his seat, Prince Archilles composed himself and stood right in front of Leia. His imposing look stood 6 feet tall; While Leia stands at 5 feet and 5 inches. Prince Archilles caressed her jade like face with his left hand; And drew closer into her. He took a sniff at this soiled beauty; and as he drew closer and closer, the strong stench of alcohol assaulted Leia.
"Such beauty." Prince Archilles whispered.
Leia blushed in helplessness and frighteningly froze while Prince Archilles harassed her innocence.
"You told me that you wouldn't lay a finger on me, not until you destroy the Great Kingdom of Ethos." Leia questioned.
Prince Archilles was shook, he sobered up, and places his hands behind his back and took a deep look into her bewitching beauty, "I was drunk, my apologies."
"As long as you keep your word, I will remain at your side and obey your command." Leia assured.
This scene was witnessed by Lila, who was wide awake and was having a short conversation with Leia and the five little girls before the guards took her out of the prison carriage. She was afraid that the Prince would take advantage of her and do something with her. She was hoping that Prince Archilles wouldn't be that kind of a person; and her hopes and prayer did come true. Prince Archilles sobered up right before he could do any harm.
Lila's trust and confidence towards Prince Archilles grows by the day. And she would definitely repay his goodwill through whatever means possible.
'someday, I will earn my keep as her loyal subordinate!' Lila thought to herself with great determination.
After a few moments, Leia was brought back into the prison carriage as Prince Archilles retreated into his own tent.
As the day ends, thus begins anew…
The army marched on into the thick jungle of Ember; filled with amber trees. And by noon, the army finally arrived at the borders of the capital of Hazel Grove kingdom.
Hazel Grove, a kingdom nestled in the heart of the enchanting Amber Tree Forest; The Jungles of Ember, it exuded an ethereal beauty that captured the imagination of all who laid eyes upon it. The kingdom, bathed in a soft golden light that filtered through the foliage, seemed to be woven seamlessly with nature itself. The air was infused with the sweet fragrance of blooming flowers, and the gentle whispers of the wind carried the melodic songs of birds and the laughter of the inhabitants.
The kingdom of Hazel Grove thrived amidst this natural splendor, its architecture harmonizing with the surroundings. The buildings, crafted with meticulous care, seamlessly blended into the landscape. The rooftops were adorned with vibrant flowers and trailing vines, as if the very essence of the forest had embraced the kingdom's structures. The inhabitants of Hazel Grove were as enchanting as their surroundings. The people possessed an ethereal beauty, their features delicate and their eyes shimmering with wisdom and kindness. They moved with grace and elegance, their clothing adorned with delicate embroideries and flowing fabrics that mirrored the hues of the forest. At the heart of the kingdom stood the majestic Amber Palace, its grandeur a testament to the unity of the people and their devotion to their land. The palace shimmered with warm hues of amber, reflecting the sunlight that filtered through the trees. Intricate carvings adorned its walls, depicting scenes from the kingdom's rich history and the mythical creatures that roamed the forest.
Within the palace, the ruling family of Hazel Grove, known for their wisdom and benevolence, governed with a gentle hand. King Cedric and Queen Elara, renowned for their strong bond with nature, sought to protect and nurture the kingdom's delicate ecosystem. They implemented sustainable practices, ensuring the preservation of the forest's beauty for future generations.
In this idyllic kingdom, harmony reigned supreme. The people of Hazel Grove lived in symbiosis with the Amber Tree Forest, respecting its sanctity and cherishing the gifts it bestowed upon them. Festivals celebrating the cycles of nature filled the kingdom with joy and laughter, as the people came together to express gratitude for the abundance that surrounded them.
By now, Neebo and the rest of the captives were in awe of the majesty of Hazel Grove.
"is this our new home sister Lila?" one of the young girls asked excitedly.
Lile was also struck with astonishment, she nodded with great determination and told the girls, "Yes,
that is why we should work as hard as we can to be of service to the Young Lord! Ok?"
"Yes, sister!"
"Yes, Lila!"
The young girls answered with excitement and resolve.
Neebo, who just regained back his consciousness felt a little bit bitter.
He was also enchanted by the aura of Hazel Grove; the people that they had passed by had a smile that reflects kind and welcoming warmth to it. Yet its army, and their most renowned Young Lord had a complete opposite aura of destruction and oppression.
The beauty and harmonious atmosphere of the kingdom, is conflicted with the ugly and tuneless energy of Prince Archilles and his army.
Neebo smirked, 'I guess I'm not the only one who doesn't fit in with his own home.'
The silver haired Leia noticed Neebo smirking, "You are not thinking of doing something scandalous again, aren't you?"
Neebo was caught off guard by this question, he looked at Leia and smiled awkwardly at her "hehe you've only known me for just a short time, not even a day; yet you are already so sure as to how I might behave? Haha be careful Miss Leia, I'm not that hard to fall in love with." Neebo teased.
Strangely, Leia blushed from Neebo's teasing. Neebo witnessed the sudden change, he felt incredulous of the thought that Leia would be in love with him. For Neebo, it was just a joke. Neebo treated Leia as a reliable ally, and nothing more than that.
Leia turned her head away from Neebo as she was also caught off guard by Neebo's teasing.
Awkward silence hangs in the air as their carriage was pulled into the very center of the kingdom.
The army was met with a thousand of residents of Hazel Grove, who were happy at the arrival of their own. The parade began at the borders of the kingdom and into its heart; The Amber Palace of Hazel Grove kingdom.
The Amber Palace stood like a mythical creature; Its imposing aura prevails, along with it were the warmth of the kingdom and nature.
Prince Archilles and his Royal guards, along with Elder Bai; entered the inner ward of the Amber Palace; following behind them was the captives, on their feet. Neebo and the rest of the captives felt even more of the impressive aura, as they felt the earth beneath their feet.
King Cedric and Queen Elara stood at the inner ward of the palace as they await the arrival of Prince Archilles and his men.
King Cedric is known as a wise and knowledgeable ruler. his wisdom and vast knowledge, particularly in matters concerning the environment and the intricate balance of with nature. King Cedric's connection with nature is profound. He sees himself as a steward of the forest and its inhabitants, ensuring their protection and well-being. He often spends time immersed in the forest, seeking inspiration and guidance from its serene surroundings. He rules with a compassionate and just demeanor. He genuinely cares for the well-being of his people and strives to create harmony within the kingdom. His decisions are guided by a desire to maintain a sustainable balance between humanity and the natural world.
Queen Elara on the other hand, possesses a gentle and graceful presence, reflecting her deep love for the Amber Tree Forest and its enchanting surroundings. Her elegance and poise serve as an inspiration to the people of Hazel Grove, symbolizing the harmonious relationship between humans and nature. She has a special affinity for the creatures that dwell within the forest; Her compassionate nature extends to all living beings, fostering an atmosphere of reverence for the environment.
Together, King Cedric and Queen Elara govern Hazel Grove as a united and harmonious force. They lead by example, demonstrating a deep respect for nature and a commitment to the well-being of their kingdom. Their wisdom, compassion, and connection with the natural world have earned them the admiration and respect of their subjects, solidifying their role as beloved and revered rulers.
As Prince Archilles company arrived at the presence of the Kind and Queen, Neebo felt like there was something wrong; Everyone from his company knelt, while Prince Archilles dismounted his horse and as it was supposedly Prince Archilles kneeling and bowing his head down in reverence and respect, Prince Archilles in his imposing aura, actually stood tall and only gave a slight nod before the King and Queen.
An awkward silence prevails. The relationship between Prince Archilles and the King and Queen is known within the palace's inner circle; to be of somewhat antagonistic against each other.
King Cedric and Queen Elara reigned supreme within the kingdom and had nurtured great values of harmony, love towards each other, kindness and most of all peace. These values were not inclined to the goals and objectives of Prince Archilles, his conquest against the Great Kingdom of Ethos.
Prince Archilles wanted to nurture a cold blooded, fearless men from the ranks of Haven Grove. Yet the King and Queen repeatedly stood against his ideals. And so, Prince Archilles grew determined to prove his ways by making his own army in his path of conquest.
"Greetings, Father and Mother." Prince Archilles addressed.
