Bab 4: [DO NOT BUY!] ERROR!

If seen, disappear. Never confront your target directly. Never kill in front of witnesses.

I smile and look into her eyes. "Goodbye, commander."

I toss my blade into the air. Crossbow bolts are fired at her, anticipating my leap. The four soldiers rush in.

Everything seems to slow down as the blade soars through the air.

One rotation. Two.

I throw the last dagger towards my target. One of the guards steps in front of her, and the dagger hits his armor.

Three, four.

I leap towards the dagger—the motion forces me to pierce through the man's armor, hitting flesh. I see the whites of his eyes, a mix of shock, pain, and fear. Behind me, I hear the commotion and the screams of the others. They're coming fast. But not fast enough.

Five, six.

The commander retreats and raises her sword. The reaction was delayed by surprise. I pull out my dagger and lunge forward. My free hand finds her hair, the tip finds her throat.
