Bab 38: Giant Snake!
The duo traveled a long ways into the Eclipse Forest while fooling around.
Mu Yu looked around as the animals started becoming more predators than prey. They started seeing less Herbivores and more carnivores; Wolves, Snakes, Foxes, etc.
The strangest part was that the furred animals all had parts of them that were neon.
Jin Wu held up a wolf, prying its mouth open, looking at the glimmering neon colors. He was dumbfounded, looking at Mu Yu as he said "You think it only has to open its mouth and prey just jumps in?" Mu Yu's lips twitched as he looked at the rainbow neon colored teeth, neon tongue, and then the pitch black fur, "I guess…"
Jin Wu turned back to the wolf and his heart was hot, "I wanna keep it!" Mu Yu made an 'X' with her arms, "It's weird, leave it alone." Jin Wu ignored her and held the wolf's head, shaking it as he asked, "Wanna stay with me, little guy?" the wolf's brains were rattled as Jin Wu shook it.
Most of the animals in this area were still at the Foundation Establishment realm. As the Forest deepened, the cultivation base increased. But generally, the periphery was full of Qi Training animals.
So, this wolf had no chance to resist at all.
The wolf growled in confusion and Jin Wu pouted, "No?" Mu Yu rolled her eyes and smiled slyly, "Maybe it tastes good." Jin Wu's eyes lit up and he laughed, "I've never eaten wolf!" as his hands started vibrating intensely.
The Wolf's eyes widened as all its bones shattered into powder, its brain turned to mush, and all its internal organs exploded.
The wolf slumped bonelessly, dying in an instant.
Mu Yu came over and grabbed a knife out of thin air, slicing open the wolf's belly.
A bunch of slop fell out, forming a big lump on the ground full of internal organs.
She turned to Jin Wu, asking "Can you shake it's skin off too?" he looked at her and rolled his eyes, she clicked her tongue and grabbed the wolf from him, skinning it.
Jin Wu waved his arm as a full charcoal grill came out as well as a table with all sorts of spices and vegetables, pots and pans out after the other landed on the table as Mu Yu kept the wolf skin and teeth, starting to cut the meat.
Jin Wu stood around and looked at the lump of organs as Mu Yu poured out the brain matter onto it. He rubbed his chin and pulled a chair out of his space ring, sitting down as he scooped the mush into a bucket.
As Mu Yu cooked, a delicious smell permeated the forest.
Jin Wu sat in the chair, mixing the mush with a stick, enjoying himself.
As the time passed, more creatures started appearing around them.
Mu Yu ignored them and Jin Wu looked at a brave snake that slithered over. He wore a glove, holding out some mush. The Snake slithered over and its forked tongue came out, touching the mush.
The Snake was surprised and happy, swallowing some mush with what seemed to be a happy smile.
Jin Wu stroked the black snake head as he pulled out more mush, feeding the snake.
Mu Yu looked at him and shook her head. She turned back to the grill, slapping a monkey paw with her tongs, glaring at a monkey that suddenly appeared to steal their food.
The Monkey shrank back, rubbing his paw with an aggrieved expression. Jin Wu shook his head, "Don't be so mean to the animals." Mu Yu glared at him, "He tried to steal my food!" Jin Wu shook his head, sighing "Barbarian woman."
Mu Yu shivered in anger as the snake nodded in agreement. She looked around and all the animals all nodded, agreeing with Jin Wu. Mu Yu suddenly smiled beautifully, "You all agree with him?"
The Animals froze, feeling a shiver for some reason…
A bit later
Mu Yu was humming to herself with 5 grills around her, all sorts of different meat on them.
The snake was shivering in Jin Wu's lap, clearly terrified from what it just saw. Jin Wu stroked the snake and said "Shhh… It's gonna be okay, she can't hurt you." Mu Yu snorted and muttered, "Lucky." the snake dripped tears from its eyes, clearly traumatized.
Jin Wu glared at Mu Yu, "Stop scaring Jeff!" Mu Yu almost collapsed, "Stop naming animals!" Jin Wu snorted, "I'll name whatever I like, idiot!" Mu Yu shouted, "You're the idiot!" Jin Wu put his fingers in his ears, "I'm rubber you're glue!" Mu Yu shivered and laughed, "You're such a loser! Hahahah!"
Jin Wu smiled slightly, stroking Jeff and feeding it the rest of the mush. Jeff coiled up his arm and fell asleep.
A bit later
Mu Yu and Jin Wu ate all the meat from the animals. Jin Wu's eyes lit up and he said happily, "You're getting better! Wow! This is really good!" Mu Yu smiled happily and said "I've always enjoyed cooking." Jin Wu gave her a thumbs up, "You're awesome!"
He patted his stomach, "I don't think I can eat anyone else's food now." Mu Yu paused and a small smile sprawled across her lips, as she whispered "Then don't." Jin Wu paused, "Huh?" Mu Yu looked at him, repeating "Huh?"
Jin Wu looked at her suspiciously, "Did you say something just now?" Mu Yu looked at him in amusement, "Are you hearing things now?" Jin Wu scratched his head and looked around, "I swore I heard something…" Mu Yu smiled to herself, continuing to eat happily.
Just as they were eating, a massive head poked through the trees above them.
Jin Wu and Mu Yu froze as he said, "I told you I heard something!" Mu Yu's eyes widened as she looked at the massive snake head, Jin Wu looked up and his eyes condensed, "IT'S A SHINY SEVIPER!" Mu Yu shouted at him angrily, "IT'S NOT A POKEMON! DAMN IT!"
The Snake head came down and looked at the duo, hissing as it turned to Jin Wu, who paused, "Um? I'm sorry?" The Snake looked impatient, hissing "Human, return my child to me!" Jin Wu and Mu Yu were dumbfounded, shouting in unison "You can talk?!"
The Snake rolled it's eyes, it's voice was feminine, "A Peak Nascent Soul Demon Beast, normal to speak your language, no?" Jin Wu was dumbfounded and asked in confusion, "Why don't you just… you know…" as he clicked his teeth together in a biting motion.
Mu Yu slapped her forehead in disbelief while the Snake chuckled, "My child is in your hands? If I eat you, I'll accidentally eat her too. Besides… I've been watching for a while. What sort of fool lets their child roam the forest alone?"
Jin Wu and Mu Yu's lips twitched and they glanced at each other, wanting to enlighten this snake on every single novel to ever exist…
Jin Wu touched Jeff's head and Jeff woke up, looking around in a daze. It saw the huge head and hissed happily, waving its tail.
The Snake froze and glared at the little snake, hissing angrily. The little snake was dumbfounded and sad, slithering down Jin Wu's arm, going to the big snake, looking back at Jin Wu every second.
Jin Wu wiped his tears, "Go on, Jeff. Be with your people!" Jeff cried and hissed.
Mu Yu and the Big Snake watched this scene, feeling an extreme annoyance in their hearts.
Can you stop being so dramatic, please?
