Bab 34: Escaping
Having a conversation, with the Vinsmoke family, Brook felt tired, it was as if they were speaking in different wavelengths.
Whenever he asked a question, they would not even respond and instead, ask him another question in return.
Feeling tired of dealing with that, he started freezing his surroundings using an inferior version of the ice age of Aokiji.
While he was freezing his surrounding, he was frequently attacked with firearms.
Looking at the attacks coming toward him, he had to protect the children in his hands.
Observing what had become of the hostage situation, Brook sighed.
Furthermore, during all this, the three brats constantly attacked him without any fear. But were completely unsuccessful in doing anything.
Getting fed up with the situation, Brook spoke.
"Fuck This Shit I'm out"
After his final words, he carried the two children and jumped high.
After jumping a few times Brook was already out of the attack range of weapons, after that using Geppo he continued moving in a random direction.
After a while, he was still traveling slowly high above the ocean using Geppo.
There were two traumatized kids sitting on his shoulder.
Well, at least the girl was barely sitting while holding her brother with another hand, not letting him fall.
After traveling for a while an Island came into his view, and Brook continued moving towards the island.
The island was oval, the outer perimeter of the island had large trees reaching about 100 meters in height, and the center of the island looked like a Savana, overall the island looked like a natural cage.
Looking at the weird island, he decided to head toward the inner part of the island, rather than the edges of the island.
So, after landing on the island he let the two children down gently.
Both Reiju and Sanji were traumatized by the events they had to face at such a young age.
Reiju was mostly traumatized by the person who had changed her entire life in just a few hours, whereas Sanji was more traumatized by almost falling from that height.
After being allowed to stay on the ground, the both of them started hugging one another, finding comfort in their bond, probably due to finding themselves in a difficult situation, it was already known by both, that their father was cruel and merciless and wouldn't care for them, he would shrug them off by saying that they died because they were weak.
Whereas, they didn't know anything about this mysterious being, who wasn't even a human.
Looking at the two cowering children who had distrust and vigilance in their eyes, he sighed thinking, 'Well now comes the hard part.
After that he didn't do anything, he made himself comfortable, by sitting on the ground,
a few meters away from the children.
He also removed his hooded robe fully exposing his skull, in which the afro was now tied to wear the robe easily.
After a few minutes of silence, due to the momentary peace, it was Sanji who asked the first question, "Who are you? No, rather what are you?
Brook didn't answer for a while, then suddenly started speaking in a sorrowful tone, " I was a person who had caught a very deadly disease when I was quite young, it was a disease that made my body immobilized, making me unable to do anything but use my body senses."
"Every day was a constant struggle, I had to lay down without being able to do anything, I had to face tormenting pain and humiliation situations daily. Some people came and told me that it would be better for me to die than live like this."
"But there were also those who told me stories of the outside world, it made me filled with hope and an intense desire to survive the disease, but all of my struggles amounted to nothing.

Brook continued in a slightly shivering tone, "Looking like a monster I tried to search for my family, but they also disregarded me saying I was a monster and I had already passed away."
With a lower tone, Brook once again spoke, "So filled with indigence, I came to the Germa kingdom to take revenge."
"I had hoped by taking Judge's children hostages, hoping he would also be filled with the emotions and tournament I had to face, leaving him with a lasting scar but things didn't go as planned, and here we are."
