Bab 17: Captain rhino
As he was assessing the condition of the frozen pirates using observation haki. He turned his head sideways and stared at two pirates who just came out from the cabin.
One of the pirates who came out was a guy he had previously seen, he was the guy with brown hair who seemed to be close to big lee.
While he was sent flying due to his light body he quickly sneaked into the cabin. Although he was noticed by Gem. Gem didn't care much, so he let him go past him.
There was another guy besides the brown-haired guy, with a build even bigger than big lee's standing around 8 ft tall.
Though not as tall as the skeleton the guy was a big guy in his own right.
As the staring continue, the big dude spoke in a calm voice" Hey, bastard why did u kill all those pirates, do you even know how hard it is to find a good crew".
Gem also spoke with a calm voice" Nah, I didn't kill them, they should still be alive within the ice. If you keep them in a warm place and let the ice melt they should probably be fine".
"As for the two dead bodies well let's say, those two idiots were the ones who attacked me first "
The guy with brown hair pointed his finger and shouted ' Shut up, it was you who attacked us first, you attacked the two-"
Before he could finish his sentence he was sent flying by a sudden slap.
The big guy who slapped the pirate spoke as if nothing happened," forgot what that fool said, they probably got scared and fainted or something like that."
Before Gem could say anything the guy continued, "I am the captain of the rhino pirated, Rihan."
"Oh, finally a guy who can speak normally, I am the captain of the Rumbar pirates; Brook".
Listening to that, Captain Rihan smiled and said "So, did you eat a devil fruit or something, you look like a skeleton."
Brook also spoke in a more joyous tone " Duh, I look like a skeleton fruit because I ate the skeleton-skeleton devil fruit making me a human skeleton."
After hearing that Rihan burst into maniacal laughter Rihahahahaha, and said "You fool, now that I know that you are a devil fruit user I will kill you."
Saying that he started to change into a rhino.
The rhino charged and sent the skeleton flying toward the sea. He once again burst into maniacal laughter 'Rihahahahaha' and said, " Look at that fool, revealing his weakness to his enemies, once I knew that he was a devil fruit user, I just had to throw him into the ocean and it was an easy win."
As he was celebrating his victory something tapped on his solder, looking behind, he saw a skeleton palm placed on his shoulder.
Before he could do anything else he felt a hand on his chest as it was followed by a voice he knew.
'Soul freeze'
After that, well there was nothing after that, he was frozen in ice.
Brook removed his hand from the frozen guy and calmly grabbed his palm from the shoulder. He reattached the palm back and said while sighing "Well, who's the fool now.'
As he was doing all of this, the people in the cage had been observing what was happening, since he crashed through the cabin wall.
Despite not being able to hear the happenings outside. Just the actions of the skeletal being were able to give them goosebumps in their body.
