Dantalion arrived at his manor in the evening to see Mariana staring at the sky on the balcony. 'Maybe I should try to get close to her.... to find out what she is'.
He walked up to her "Mariana" Dantalion called. As she heard his voice shivers ran down her spine " ummm... yes... should I get anything for you"she stuttered. "No..." He held her hand at that moment Mariana shuddered she felt something move in her... something she has never felt before. She quickly redrew her hand "... why are u acting scared, you're my wife after all" Dantalion said while moving closer to her "I thought you didn't... want to... you-wanted..."she stuttered. "Wanted what?" He replied while admiring her flushed cheeks.
"I-I need to go inside it's getting cold out here" she changed the topic, "No... That's not what we were talking about"He replied before her back hit the terrace. She sandwiched between him and the terrace."What?" She said with eyes wide,"Are you trying to play dumb with me?" Dantalion asked with a dark tone.N-No... No it's just that I thought... I thought you don't want to-to have anything with me... I thought you hated me because our marriage was arranged" Mariana replied with her head down.
Dantalion Stared at her in pain, why did her emotions affect him? He has never felt like this since his mother died. "I'm... Sorry" he replied her sadly. 'This is all part of the act... I don't care about her' He tried convincing himself.
"I-I need to go inside" she said trying hard not to cry. "I wanted to tell you... you're moving into my room tonight" Dantalion said. At the mention of this Mariana Froze "What?" she exclaimed. "You heard me... I thought you were my wife" He replied with that husky voice.
she stuttered"No... I mean y-yes but I thought",
"don't think anything...get ready you're Chest would be moved into my room" he cut her of,
"Okay-" Mariana replied obediently.
Mariana continued"-I need to go inside-" Dantalion held her waist which took her by surprise. the position they were in had Mariana feeling heat all-over her body.
"Ummm excuse me" Mariana excused herself and left the balcony. Dantalion watched in amusement as she walked away ' Why does she look so innocent?' He thought to himself.
All of Mariana's Clothes and jewelries were moved into Dantalion's Chamber. As she entered Dantalion's room she couldn't get her eyes of the bed and got lost in thought 'What is going to happen tonight... what if... what if I can't handle it... they said the first time is painful... will it be. Oh God! what am I doing I need to get ready for bed' She went to the bathroom in his room to get prepared before he gets back. Mariana got naked and sank into the bathtub while the maids took care of her body. While in the bathtub Mariana kept thinking about what will happen tonight until she dozed off.
Mariana woke up on a silky red bed... she felt hot breath on her neck, she had to blinked her eyes before realizing she was on Dantalion's bed. She tried to get up but was held down by Dantalion's arms 'oh no... did anything happen last night... wait how did I get here? I slept in the bathtub right?... no it can't be... he didn't... maybe it's the maids, yes it's the maids'.
