Chapter 102 - Ogre Yeti

(About thirty minutes before the avalanche occurred…)

"This is definitely a mountain…" Flynn muttered to himself as he slowly trudged up the what seemed to be a snowy slope.

Leaving a trail of dead polar newts in his wake, the youth had realized, about ten minutes ago, that the area he was traversing was slowly getting steeper the further he kept walking.

At first Flynn had decided to go back down and walk around the mountain but, upon realizing that his visibility was slowly getting clearer, he had opted to keep moving up.

Following up with that thought, the youth kept moving up and just has he had hoped, his view soon became completely unobstructed by the heavy blizzard.

The steep peak of the far and majestic snow-covered mountain dramatically came into Flynn's full view, its edges adorned with sparse, glistening white snow as it pierced the blue sky.
