The Great Destruction. That's what Xallmon Licht decided to call it when the world split into two and began to reform itself. 

The world became one with mana, Angels started to appear in the sky, and many became apostles of the Gods. While some were considered unworthy of such things. 

Xallmon was one of those people rejected by the Gods and sent to the new world with nothing. 

He and a few others were left to die, but due to a miracle, Xallmon somehow got a hold of darkness on the same level of a God.
