(Vote Plz.....)
In fact, a few days ago, the notice for flying class on Thursday had already been posted in Gryffindor's common room.
Flying undoubtedly became a hot topic among the new students. Ever since the notice was posted, words like flying and broomsticks could be heard every day.
However, this matter didn't cause much excitement among the new students of Gryffindor.
After all, everyone knew that Fred, George, and Angelina were substitutes for the Quidditch team. They trained with the official players, preparing themselves for next year's selection of official players.
Albert and Lee Jordan occasionally joined the training sessions. Both of them had good flying skills. As for Aria, a witch from a wizarding family, she had naturally been exposed to broomsticks since she was young and didn't have the same enthusiasm for flying as the others.
So when the notice for flying class was posted, everyone didn't have much of a reaction. The topic of flying was discussed less in Gryffindor compared to other houses.
There was only one exception, Shanna, who was born in a Muggle family and had never been in contact with broomsticks. She was undoubtedly the most nervous among the Gryffindor newcomers.
For this reason, she even borrowed a copy of "Quidditch Through the Ages" from the library, hoping to self-study some flying techniques from the book.
Unfortunately, Shanna didn't have a user interface to directly allocate points and level up, and the book couldn't directly help her grasp the skill of riding a broomstick.
"Don't worry, riding a broomstick is not as difficult as you think. Have you ridden a bicycle before?" Albert understood Shanna's nervousness. Just like someone's first time flying in an airplane, the first time on a broomstick would naturally make one nervous, even very nervous.
The most important thing was her lack of confidence. Honestly, confidence was really important.
Albert's confidence came from his user interface. He knew he would never fail, so he dared to try boldly. If anything went wrong, he could always solve it by allocating points through the interface. After all, he still had a lot of experience in his experience pool, which was the source of his confidence.
"Yes, I have ridden one," Shanna answered after taking a deep breath.
"Riding a broomstick is like riding a bicycle," Albert reassured her. "At the beginning, someone will teach you, and with a few attempts, you'll definitely learn."
"Really?" Shanna asked skeptically.
"Really," Albert nodded. "You should have some confidence in yourself."
Lee Jordan, who was next to them, had an expression of speechlessness. Although he hadn't ridden a so-called bicycle himself, he dared to guarantee that Albert was just fooling around again.
You may be talented yourself, but Shanna is not you!
In the afternoon, a few minutes before the flying class.
Albert and the Gryffindor students hurried to the class location. Gryffindor's flying class was combined with the Slytherin students.
"Why don't we have flying class on the Quidditch pitch?" Fred once again expressed his confusion. Their flying class took place on a flat lawn outside the castle.
"Who knows," Lee Jordan shrugged indifferently. It didn't matter where they had the class, after all.
"Hurry up, don't be late," Angelina urged. She seemed eager to have their first flying class.
"Don't worry, we still have five minutes. It's enough time for you to get there with some spare time," Albert said calmly, raising his head and looking at the lawn ahead.
The Slytherin students were already there, helping Madam Hooch arrange the broomsticks.
Madam Hooch was a short-haired woman with a hooked nose and sharp eagle-like eyes. When she mounted a broomstick, it gave an inexplicable illusion as if she were an eagle ready to swoop down and capture its prey.
The content of the flying class was similar to what Charlie taught them.
First, they had to make the broomstick jump into their hands. Most of the Gryffindor students succeeded after a few attempts, except for Shanna, who was an exception. Her broomstick didn't budge at all. In the end, Shanna simply bent down and picked up the broomstick, causing a burst of laughter.
Madam Hooch, who saw this scene, shook her head almost imperceptibly.
"Don't worry, only a few can do it easily," Angelina signaled Shanna, whose face turned red, to look at the Slytherin students on the opposite side. Their situation wasn't much better. Those who had just mocked her were now struggling with their broomsticks.
Then they moved on to how to ride a broomstick and the correct grip with both hands. Madam Hooch walked among the students, correcting their improper grips. She was amazed at the high level of the Gryffindor students and rewarded Gryffindor five points for it, which made the Slytherin students who received criticism unhappy.
After that, they practiced taking off and landing.
Shanna's situation was even worse. The broomstick she was riding on trembled slightly, and it was unclear whether it was the broomstick trembling or herself.
After finishing the simple tutorial, Madam Hooch allowed the best riders to practice freely. With her keen eyes, she could tell that Albert and the others had already mastered the skills of flying on broomsticks.
Fred watched the Slytherin students who were still receiving instructions with joy. George followed suit and took off on his broomstick, playfully flying in the sky.
Albert couldn't help but shake his head repeatedly. He knew that Fred was deliberately trying to provoke the Slytherin students on the other side.
After all, the talent of the new students on the other side in flying was far inferior to Gryffindor's.
There was nothing they could do. Except for Shanna, who flew poorly and was left behind by Madam Hooch, most of the Gryffindor students were already flying in the sky.
"To be honest, the few of us don't really need flying class," George said to Fred. They were performing a synchronized spiral flight, which earned them applause.
"You're doing great," Lee Jordan said. He hadn't trained as much on the Quidditch pitch as the Weasley twins. Even when he went with Albert, it was just to enjoy the pleasure of flying on broomsticks or playing with everyone.
"But the Slytherin students can't compare!" Lee Jordan said in front of the Slytherin students when he landed, instantly earning their resentment and angry glares.
"I didn't say anything wrong, did I?"
"I can only say that we are far superior to them in this aspect." Albert casually added fuel to the fire, aiming at the Slytherin students' pride.
"Go, Worthington, surpass the Weasleys."
In the sky, a Slytherin student who flew well was following behind George and Fred, spurred on by the cheering of his companions below, turning it into a race.
They competed to see who could fly faster and more steadily.
With the Weasley twins, who often trained in flying around the pitch, Worthington from Slytherin was just one step behind, but in the end, he suffered a miserable defeat.
Afterwards, the three of them were scolded by Madam Hooch, but it was clear that Fred and George didn't care. They were more concerned about defeating Slytherin's Worthington.
"We won!" Fred happily announced.
"Isn't that normal?" Albert looked at the two of them speechlessly. It was impossible for them to lose from the very beginning.
However, when these words reached the ears of the Slytherin students, for some reason, it sounded so harsh. What did it mean for something to be normal?
Does it mean that Slytherin losing is a normal thing?
So infuriating, I really want to beat him up.
