Bab 189: Chapter 189: Alarm Bells

Unbeknownst to her, there she will be met with danger she hadn't anticipated.

To Aubrey it was like any normal night. This was a pathway she had traversed in the morning to no apparent issues.

So she did not even think to call Rhyland on her way home as a safety precaution. This was how little she thought of this.

The homeless figures lay in their tents and were not making any ruckus. At ease, Aubrey kept her eyes straight ahead as she hummed along to the tune of You & Me.

She was completely unaware of the danger lurking in the night.

To her surprise, three men stepped out of the shadows in front of her.

"Aubrey Lee Young?" One of the men asked.

Wary, she gave an imperceptible nod. But that was enough.

"You're coming with us." The other man says.

Alarm bells began to ring in Aubrey's head. She was getting abducted!
