Bab 75: Chapter 75: Seduction

The preparation for the ball was a surprisingly arduous task. The very next day, Rhyland brought Aubrey to a boutique that sold luxury custom dresses. There they stayed an entire morning before finally deciding on a light pink laced v-neck mermaid gown and a Christian Louboutin diamond encrusted strappy sandals which she will pair with her trusty ruby necklace. 

Seeing the price tag of the dress and shoes she was going to wear, Aubrey's eyes grew wide as saucers. She couldn't even bring herself to offer to pay for the outfit. Of course, Rhyland never had any intention of having Aubrey pay for the items but it was fun to see her conflicted look as she wrestled with herself. To pay or not to pay, that is the question. Eventually, Rhyland managed to convince Aubrey to accept them as gifts for "helping" him out of his predicament.
