Bab 70: Chapter 70 : A Plan

 "Rhyland… they just left me." Aubrey says with tears streaming down her face

"Who left you, love?" Rhyland asked with a concerned look on his face.

"My family."

Understanding dawned on Rhyland's face and without any words, he pulled her to his chest. 

Aubrey cried and cried. 

It was so crazy. She hadn't felt this sad yesterday despite Matthais' cold demeanor. Their reunion had not really registered then with Aubrey. She was even able to talk back to the man. 

But today seeing as they had just left her so cruelly without a word of goodbye. It really hit her hard. She felt unwanted and abandoned.

"Shhh it's okay, love. I'm here." Rhyland soothed. He felt a pang of pain in his chest seeing Aubrey cry so desperately. He didn't like seeing her sad.

It was nearly an hour later by the time Aubrey had regained her bearings.
