"Come on, what do you think of me?" Rhyland asked with a teasing smile, "I promise."

Aubrey looked at Rhyland with uncertainty. They technically only knew each other for a few short weeks but she already feels like she's bared her soul to this guy.

What is it about this guy that keeps pulling her so?

It was like he had some sort of magic power that compels her to share her deepest thoughts. It was bad.

'Reminder. This is a FAKE relationship. The person you like is Ricky.' Aubrey thought to herself as she shook her head.

Rhyland fixed his gaze on the woman.

Did it not work?

No. It was impossible. Aubrey was a mere human.

In fact, Aubrey wasn't entirely wrong.
