Carnes silently observed Tsunade before him, his expression remaining unchanged.
"Trust me, Naruto will be fine. He can handle this. You guys should trust him."
Carnes stated, his words devoid of embellishment, conveyed a pure reflection of the truth.
As the son of this world, Naruto's strength was the strongest, coupled with his most powerful jutsu known as the "Talk no Jutsu."
Carnes had confidence in his ability to handle the situation.
"If Naruto can't handle this Pain, it means that Konoha Village should perish."

"I know it will be very difficult for you to handle Pain right now, due to your relationship with him."
"But in this current crisis, I have no other options. If you don't take action..."
"Naruto.... he will surely die!" she exclaimed.
"He won't die!" Carnes replied firmly, dismissing the notion with confidence, his conviction unwavering.
The idea of Naruto's death in this battle seemed ludicrous to him.
Naruto, as the son of this world, held an indomitable strength.
For this world he was the embodiment of hope and resilience who would protect them.
Even if everyone in Konoha Village perished, he would still be alive.
Such thoughts echoed in Carnes' mind as he thought of the possibility of Naruto's defeat.
But he silently scoffed at the notion of Naruto's death.
What a joke! In this world, Naruto was destined to survive and protect it.
Carnes had no intention of meddling with that fate as he probably won't be here for that long.
Tsunade found herself caught off guard and taken aback by this revelation, she couldn't believe her ears.

She hesitated for a moment before continuing, her voice still uncertain.

"If you're willing to take action and help us, I... I can assure you; I will give you anything you want!"
And then it happened.
As the words left her mouth, Tsunade's voice wavered in a soft murmur.
The red blush on her face even got down to the base of her neck.
In truth, she immediately regretted saying those words.
As the Hokage of the village, she shouldn't have said such words.
How could she express such vulnerability, like a little girl?
Wouldn't it tarnish her image in the village?
What if Carnes actually agrees to her proposal?
Was she really prepared for this, to give Carnes anything he wants?
But still.... The man standing before her was both powerful and handsome. He excluded a different charm.
It momentarily made her reconsider her own thoughts.
Perhaps, just maybe, there could be something more to this!
At this moment Tsunade's heart was in turmoil. Even she herself was caught off guard.
Carnes, too, was taken aback after hearing Tsunade's proposal.
He hadn't anticipated this.
Tsunade, saying such words? He had never thought of this.
Yet, despite not being a flagbearer of virtue and peace, Carnes was certainly no villain looking to exploit others.
Carnes was no gentleman, but he also wasn't the type to take advantage of others, especially sexually.

"You should believe in him."

Carnes explained it to Tsunade.
"Really? But what if he can't handle it..."
Tsunade still had her doubts.
"Then I'll step in!"
"Now, does this satisfy you?"
Carnes spoke, gazing at Tsunade with a half-smile. He locked his eyes with Tsunade.
"But I do remember that earlier you said if I took action, you'd agree to give me anything."
"Would you care to elaborate on that?"
"Would you agree to any of my conditions if I helped you?"
Faced with Carnes' teasing, Tsunade, who had just regained her composure, blushed once more.
Her anger resurfaced, causing the mountains, the true beauty of Konoha, on her chest to heave again.
Everyone could see how angry she was, due to such high rise and fall of the mountains on her chest.
"You rascal!"
