"Alright, everyone! Look ahead! We've arrived!"
Standing on the bow of the ship, an orange starfish pointed towards the front, capturing everyone's attention.
As soon as those words left the starfish's mouth, the Straw Hat Pirates immediately turned their gaze in the direction it indicated.

Meanwhile, in another area, Area 13, an underground auction prison was bustling with activity.

A thunderous sound echoed from below, causing the ground to tremble violently.
Soon after, another explosion followed.
"Boom!"

"Ugh!"
This time, the force of the explosion shattered the solid ground, sending debris flying and several people sprawling in the air.
"Boom, boom~"
In an instant, a cloud of dust billowed, obscuring the surroundings.
The onlookers, startled by the chain of events, quickly stepped back, opting to watch from a safe distance.
Simultaneously, the auction house steward, accompanied by a large group of armed personnel, hurriedly assessed the situation.
Armed and ready, they encircled the dust-filled area, preparing for a potential threat.
But within the thick haze, the sound of footsteps could be heard, growing louder with each passing moment.

Hardly had the steward's words subsided when figures emerged from the dust and mist—Carnes and Albedo.
At the sight of the approaching individuals, the steward's eyes involuntarily contracted, and beads of sweat formed on his forehead.
"It's him?! What is this guy doing here?!"
The steward had recognized Carnes.
Just the day before, news of the Gale Emperor Pirates had spread like wildfire across the island.
It was reported that the three kidnapping gangs entrenched in Sabaody Archipelago had been completely wiped out by the Gale Emperor Pirates within a single day, leaving no survivors.
The corpses were said to have been gruesomely dismembered and displayed in the forest.
To verify the authenticity of the news, some curious individuals had ventured to the scene, only to witness the horrifying spectacle and promptly retch from the sheer brutality.
With these memories flooding back, the steward regarded Carnes with fear.
Not only the steward, but even some of his subordinates recognized Carnes as well.
Facing the notorious pirate with a bounty of 1.093 billion Berries, their trembling hands clutching weapons betrayed their apprehension.
However, Carnes paid no heed to the group's attempts to encircle him. He didn't even spare them a glance.
"No longer here," he muttered softly.
Carnes produced a small notebook, crossing out the name of the auction site in Area 13 from the list of various locations written within.
Area 13 marked the third crossed-out entry on the list.
Closing the notebook, Carnes turned to Albedo, who stood beside him, and remarked,
"Let's go. Time to move on to the next place."
"Hmm~" Albedo nodded happily.
The captain rarely found himself alone, and Albedo cherished these moments dearly, even wishing that Carnes would slow down a bit, allowing them more time together.
As Carnes approached, the auctioneer and those who recognized him held their breath, feeling as if they had been plunged into an icy abyss.
In the next moment, the steward seemed to have forgotten his earlier bravado and beckoned to his subordinates.
"Make way!"
With those words, the terrified subordinates silently retreated to the side, relieved to escape the imminent danger.
Even those who hadn't recognized Carnes felt compelled to step aside due to the steward's command.
Helplessly, they watched Carnes and Albedo walk away.
Only then did a subordinate, confused, inquire, "Shouldn't we stop them?"
The steward frowned and replied in an unfriendly tone, "And what would you suggest? Interfere and join the corpses in the forest over there?
If you're so eager, just let me know, and I'll gladly send you to meet your demise. Just don't bother me!"
His words left the subordinate momentarily stunned before he realized the gravity of the situation.
He took a deep breath and asked, "Are...are they members of the Gale Emperor Pirates?"
The steward shot him a disdainful glance before turning and walking away.
"Keep your eyes open and look closely. That man is their captain, Carnes, with a bounty of 1.093 billion Berries!"
Meanwhile, on the other side, in the backstage prison of another auction, an old man with silver hair and beard, round glasses, and a straight scar across his right eye sat with a smile in the corner of the cell.
Despite wearing handcuffs, he appeared remarkably composed.
Beside him, a giant figure, also restrained by cuffs on his wrists and ankles, couldn't help but speak upon seeing the old man's smile.
"Even in a place like this, you can still find solace in sleep. How can you smile? We are about to be auctioned off as slaves."
The old man simply smiled in response.
"Well~ After all, I was just reminiscing about past events and the people I knew in my dreams..."
