"Ah~" Carnes sighed softly, his gaze shifting towards the vast expanse of the blue sea visible through the window.
How could he maximize his influence points? Time was no longer on his side. He couldn't afford to waste a single moment.
Determined not to miss the opportunity to personally kill Edward Newgate,
Carnes steered the ship towards their destination without taking breaks.
He didn't even have time to deal with the Marines or the insignificant pirates and bounty hunters that pursued him.
Nor did he have the luxury of recruiting additional crew members from this world.
Searching for suitable candidates would consume a considerable amount of time, and even if they joined as an affiliated pirate group, the increase in influence points would be negligible.

The passage of time seemed to have blurred, leaving him uncertain of the days that had gone by.

On a certain afternoon, out at sea, on the deck of the Eternal Gale,

Suddenly, the enormous skull with a crown printed on the ship's sail spoke up.
"Captain! I can see an island ahead."
Startled by the ship spirit's announcement, Carnes put down the cards he was playing with the crew and rose from his seat.
"Continue your game," he told the crew without waiting for their reaction.
He then slowly stood up and walked towards the bow of the Eternal Gale.
At the bow, the refreshing sea breeze caressed Carnes' face, bringing a faint smile to his lips.
He had spotted it—the island made up of enormous trees, with countless bubbles floating up from its surface.
This was precisely their destination, Sabaody Archipelago.
"It's finally here... This voyage was extremely long," Carnes whispered to himself, a sense of accomplishment washing over him.
Turning around to face the crew below, Carnes saw their eager faces as they too had slowed down their activities, awaiting his news.
"Everyone, prepare to land on the island!" he announced.
In unison, the crew members broke into smiles, filled with excitement and relief.
"Hooray! Are we finally there?"
"Being on the boat for so long was driving me crazy."
"Tell me about it! It feels like months have passed in these few days."
"Such a big island, there's bound to be some great stuff. Let's make sure to stay alert!"
Amidst the chatter and smiles, Carnes continued to observe his crew, knowing they were equally invested in him and their journey.
Meanwhile, on the other side, in Sabaody Archipelago,
In a medium-sized restaurant a man with flowing blond hair, a slender figure, black triangle symbols above his eyebrows, armor on his left arm, and a black cross tattooed on his Adam's apple was calmly sitting at a dining table, as he was having a meal.
"Kach~"
The sound of something breaking caught his attention, and he turned his head to the source of the noise, only to find that the cup on the table had shattered on its own.
"No one touched it, did it split itself..." the blond man murmured.
After gazing at the broken cup for a while, the man withdrew his attention and took out a deck of Tarot cards from his pocket.
After a quick shuffle, the Tarot card deck emitted a lavender light.
In the next moment, the man selected one card, slowly opened it, and placed it on the table.
Upon seeing the image on the Tarot card, his eyelids drooped slightly, and he muttered to himself.
"Today... it is not suitable to go out."
