Bab 95: The Hecklers and the Dove

As Raphael stood by continuing to goad Mia, no one said a thing, aside from those who chose to snicker and leer at the young woman.

It seemed the arrogant young man was clearly untouchable given his status within the family and because of this, few chose to get on his bad side.

Well, all except for Mia, who was clearly being taunted by said person right now.

"Honestly Mia, what are you hoping to even accomplish here. Aren't you tired of this little charade?"

As Raphael said this, he stopped tossing the white stone in his hands to begin twirling around the guandao to provide the audience with some form of entertainment, to which more than a few young women appreciated judging by the fawning gazes directed towards him.

Raphael pretended to ignore these gazes as he still stood there smiling at the clearly displeased Mia across from him.
