Bab 38: Godzilla vs King Kong
Just as the people from the APEX organization were collecting energy, a group of bat-like creatures descended from the sky and began attacking the crowd. Kong lifted his battle axe and charged towards the swarm of bats. At that moment, a faint blue beam shot up from the ground, melting the surrounding bat-like creatures.
Kong listened to the angry roar coming from the other end of the passage and felt that the axe in his hand was already eager and impatient. After roaring, he jumped into the passage, carrying the axe. Ten minutes later, Kong climbed out of the cave and launched an attack on Godzilla in the distance.
Yi Hu hid in a pit and listened to the battle above. Suddenly, he heard the sound of engines coming from below. He looked down and discovered that it was the female doctor piloting an aircraft, preparing to fly out of the pit. Yi Hu shot two beams of thermal energy from his eyes, blasting the aircraft to pieces.
Watching everyone being crushed under the pressure, Kong, holding the giant axe, leaped into the sky and fiercely attacked Godzilla with a powerful strike. However, Godzilla dodged it by leaning to the side, and Kong's axe, glowing with blue light, got stuck in a building. Godzilla bit Kong's neck and threw him away, preparing to unleash its atomic breath. Seeing this, Kong delivered a fierce elbow strike to Godzilla's neck, interrupting its skill activation.
Kong then tried to pry open Godzilla's mouth and tear it in half, but the high temperature of the atomic breath made him abandon that idea. He could only tightly cover Godzilla's mouth with his hands and rotate in place twice before throwing it away.
Using the surrounding tall buildings, Kong jumped into the air and launched a relentless attack on Godzilla's head. Watching Godzilla, who was knocked down by himself, excitedly beating its chest, Kong felt that he had avenged the beating he had received in the sea.
Casually grabbing the giant axe from the nearby building, Kong prepared to chop off Godzilla's head as a keepsake. But Godzilla unleashed its atomic breath, which was blocked by Kong with the giant axe.
Godzilla suddenly rushed towards Kong and pushed him down to the ground. Kong retaliated by striking Godzilla's thigh with the axe. In pain, Godzilla kicked Kong away, biting the axe handle and throwing it onto a distant building.
The scorching atomic breath relentlessly chased Kong from behind, destroying all the tall buildings along the way. Unable to dodge it, Kong was grazed by the atomic breath, and the scent of flesh filled the air.
Godzilla looked at Kong rolling on the ground and a mocking smile appeared on its face. It once again unleashed an atomic breath, sending Kong flying into the sky with no way to go down.
While Kong was fleeing, he saw a glimmer of light from the giant axe embedded in a tall building in the distance. With a few jumps, he reached the top of the building, took the giant axe, and leapt into the air above Godzilla, intending to chop off its head.
The scorching atomic breath collided with the giant axe in mid-air, and the energy inside the axe instantly surged towards Godzilla. After a loud bang, Kong was blown away by the shockwave from the explosion, flying ten meters away. Godzilla, with its eyes rolling back, slowly fell to the ground."
A few minutes later, Kong shook his head and stood up, rubbing off the singed fur from his body. He let out a howl to vent all his previous frustration, and as he saw Godzilla standing up, he leaped behind him. He tightly gripped Godzilla's neck with his left hand and relentlessly struck his head with his right hand.
Godzilla grabbed Kong's arms with both claws and performed a powerful shoulder throw, slamming him to the ground. Watching this scene, Yi Hu couldn't help but swallow his saliva, thinking to himself how intense monster fights had become these days, with one using a shoulder throw like in martial arts practice. It was quite unbelievable...
Thinking back to the scene where Kong used a shoulder throw to knock Godzilla into the sea on the aircraft carrier, Yi Hu felt a bit uncomfortable. If it weren't for the monster skin, he would believe it was two martial arts masters fighting.
Without his giant axe, Kong was knocked down by Godzilla's combo and had his right foot pressed firmly on him. Godzilla lowered his head, looking at Kong with a sneer on his face.
Since defeating the three-headed King Ghidorah, it had been a long time since Godzilla encountered such a worthy opponent. After some consideration, he decided to let his little brother grow a bit more and spared him for the time being.
Meanwhile, the Apex organization released Mechagodzilla, intending to have someone pilot it and put an end to Godzilla's legend. However, the pilot was overtaken by the remaining consciousness of King Ghidorah, and he controlled the new body to destroy the research base.
Godzilla looked at the distant Mechagodzilla with an angry expression on his face. Mechagodzilla used its proton scream to unleash a red shockwave, destroying the surrounding buildings.
Godzilla roared and charged towards Mechagodzilla, intending to engage in close combat. However, Mechagodzilla had no honor and bombarded him with missiles. Godzilla endured the missiles and raised his right claw to give Mechagodzilla a powerful blow, causing it to stumble.
In the next moment, the thrusters on Mechagodzilla's back ignited, and the powerful force drove its mechanical right arm to smash Godzilla's face, knocking him down. After the intense battle he had just experienced, Godzilla was pinned down by Mechagodzilla and received a heavy beating.
Yi Hu stood on the rooftop, watching Godzilla on the left side using its atomic breath and Mechagodzilla using the proton scream, and whispered to himself,
"According to the law of 'Left Side Always Loses,' it seems that Godzilla is done for this time..."
As soon as he finished speaking, Godzilla was sent flying dozens of meters away by the proton scream and crashed into a building. The skin on its chest started turning red due to the high temperature. Yi Hu's eyes narrowed, and he decided to play the hero and save the beast, planning to have it sign a contract to repay the favour.
Mechagodzilla pried open Godzilla's mouth, preparing to launch the proton scream inside. Suddenly, two beams of energy, as thick as chopsticks, shot through its mechanical right arm, creating two small holes. Yi Hu's mouth twitched slightly, feeling that his attack didn't do much damage and was quite insulting.
Mechagodzilla let go of Godzilla's head and turned its head to look at Yi Hu, who appeared minuscule beside it. It started gathering a red beam in its mouth, while Yi Hu swallowed his saliva and released a continuous beam of heat energy, preparing to cut through Mechagodzilla body.
Looking at Godzilla lying on the ground, he turned his head and kicked Mechagodzilla with his right foot, causing its proton to scream to deviate and land ten meters away from Yi Hu's right side.
Yi Hu used his psychic powers to transport himself in front of Godzilla and took out a scroll, saying softly, "Does the big guy want to go on an adventure with me?"
Godzilla blinked his small eyes, and two streams of hot air spewed from his nostrils. It could vaguely sense the emotions of this little creature in front of it. After a moment of hesitation, Godzilla extended its left index finger and tapped the scroll.
