Daohua prepared the medicine, and Wang Manman couldn't be of much help. She was sent back to rest early by Daohua last night.

When Wang Manman got up in the morning and had just finished washing up, she saw her young miss rush back inside with a flushed face and was immediately surprised, "Miss, what's wrong with you?"

Daohua did not respond and ran straight to the bed to lie down. After pounding the bedding for a while, she calmed down some of her embarrassment and propped herself up to say, "Go fetch the wash water for me. After breakfast, we need to return to Ningmen Prefecture."

Wang Manman looked at Daohua's still-red cheeks, nodded her head, and quickly turned to get the hot water.

Once she left, Daohua got up and sat in front of the vanity, looking at her own shame-red face, and once again annoyingly covered her face with her hand.

Luckily, Wang Manman came back quickly; otherwise, she would have to scold herself over and over again.
