Bab 58: Chapter 57 - Ironic

Despite all the anger and adrenaline Kaito was feeling, his body was on its last legs. So, after walking only a few meters after getting out of the situation he was in, his consciousness finally gave in to all the strain and wear and tear he suffered, and he finally passed out.

Thus, he wakes up in a slightly different environment than he is used to. He is lying on a soft bed, covered by clean and soft sheets. The pain in his body is still present, but not as intense as before. He looks around, trying to understand where he is.

The place seems to be some kind of old room or dormitory, with simple wooden furniture, but well cared for. The walls are a soft shade of gray, and a small window lets in some natural light, brightening the room. There is a small closet next to the bed and a desk in one corner.

However, Kaito is alone and so it takes him a few seconds to reason out what happened. Kaito remembers walking next to Guozhi and everything suddenly going dark.
