"Great, so I'll be meowing like a maniac while you interpret my life-or-death situations," Su Jiyai muttered. "Just what I always dreamed of."

She sat down—or rather, plopped down on her fluffy haunches—and stared at her paws. The soft, blueberry pie-colored fur was undeniably cute, but the situation was anything but.

"And what's with these glowing red markings? Am I supposed to be some kind of mystical neon sign for predators?"

[Actually, the markings are a sign of the crystal's energy fusing with your body. They might look like targets, but they actually repel most predators! Most importantly you have gained a superpower! A fire superpower!]

"Fire superpower?" Su Jiyai was surprised and asked, "Wait! How is this possible? A person could only awaken one superpower, so..."
