"Eh? Are you sure?" Julian asked in a surprised tone.

He had discussed their future with each of his students at the time of the academy. But what he had done back then was something to broaden the minds of these young people to the possibilities available to them rather than to let them be aware of something with a definitive purpose of making them choose a path.

Vicente's initial answer during his student days hadn't concerned Julian; he merely regarded it as a typical expression of youthful desires.

However, hearing a similar response from Vicente, Julian couldn't help but be surprised, especially to see someone with so much potential to disregard such an opportunity and say these words.
