Bab 12: He deserves it !
'What is his problem? I couldn't even get to know his weakness from August!'
"Let me down! I will hit you! "Dina is yelling undertone so that she wouldn't scare the people passing by. The boy is carrying her with ease and doesn't seem to care about her request. Her weight was around 60 kg. Must be because he is a vampire? She always considered herself a little fat.
"If you continue to struggle I will teleport us directly to our room. "Angelo smirks as he slaps her ass. He is happy that August disappeared in the back and now he can be alone with her. Although he doesn't know the reason he is so pleased, in the end he arrives at the conclusion that he just wants to protect her from August. Nothing more, nothing less.
Dina flinches when his palm roughs her butt. It is her first time experiencing something like this. Even though she is a total virgin, she watched lots of dirty stuff, enough to understand where the boy hints to. She bits her lip and stays still as she wants to give the impression that she will behave. Of course, he will not get away from touching her peachy butt. He isn't her boyfriend to touch her body how he wants. Not only that he was rude to August leaving him alone but he now is harassing her.
'What does he try to do? '
She grabs his neck in a head lock and kicks his stomach with her knee.
Angelo is smiling when he suddenly feels like suffocating. His stomach takes a serious hit. The boy falls on the ground curling.
'He deserves it …' Dina jumps back and looks down frowning. The boy is spiting blood and glares at her.
'Did I use to much power?' She looks at her hand and forms a fist. Her training paid off to well. Since she lost her parents, Ralph sent her to the box club telling her to get stronger so that she can protect herself. Her black belt isn't a joke.
She swats down and look him in the eyes. Not a once of remorse is seen.
"I told you that I hate vampires. You are not an exception. And never touch me carelessly. Next time I will make you the object of my hatred towards your kind. "She stands up and strolls to the car.
Angelo is laying down and uses his powers to heal. After his cells regenerate, he looks towards the car. Dina is looking absently at him. She is waiting for him. Angelo stands up and thanks god that people weren't passing by. It would have been the biggest shame he could carry as a vampire. Being beaten by a girl that is shorter and human to top it all.
'She hates me … why did I bother to do it?'
He growls and feels his anger rising. He just wanted to protect her from the friend that was actually lying to her. August being a vampire is something that makes him wonder if the boy is actually into her or is preying on her.
He grips his fist and tries to calm down not wanting to make a scene. The girl is on her own from now on. He will help her just if she will call for him or if she was seriously in danger. Why was he actually trying to do by helping her? Dina hates him anyways. His job is to protect the girl for his father. The reason Ralph wants the girl is hidden from him. Not that he wants to know. He just does it for the car Ralph promised him.
'Damn her… and her feisty temper.'
He breaths and heads to the car. The girl is on the passenger sit and she avoids his gaze. He sits and starts the engine. Not a word is heard. The silence is eating Dina on inside.
"Drop me here." She looks at Angelo and grips the handle preparing to get out of the car.
"You can't! You are under my protection. I am responsible for your safety. "He frowns and looks through the window at the cars that drive in front of him.
"I came here to be protected? What? Was I in danger back home?"
She realizes the in the few days since she arrived at the mansion she didn't ask the reason she was there in the first place. She just assumed that was a wimp of her uncle in order to get her use to the idea that he was a vampire.
"Why did you thought you were there for?" He scoffs and glances at her confused expression. He can't belief that the girl didn't understood the situation she was in. Maybe her free-spirited attitude is the reason she is with her mind in the clouds.
"You are telling me Faris didn't send me here to get myself used to vampires, since he is one …?" She gulps when she understands how dumb her reasoning was. Why would he sent her while making a sad face.
"Don't tell me he is in danger! Let's go check on him! "She shouts at the boy as her face darkens.
Angelo is parks the car near a clothing shop and turns toward her.
"Listen! Vampires are not a danger for him but for you! They are hunting you down." He frowns and looks serious at the girl that doesn't seem to get what he means.
"Hunting me down … why?" She frowns and her calm demeanor makes Angelo surprised.
'Why is she so calm? When she thought of Faris she shouted … now she just doesn't care?" Her behavior is surprising him more and more. The way she cared for other people more than for herself makes him feel frustrated.
"When my father will announce me that the mansion is safe, he will tell you the whole history. For now, make sure to stay closer to me. Also, be careful of your so-called friend. He might be lying to you…. Let shop! As an apology for spanking you, I will buy you clothes."
He leaves the car letting Dina to process his speech. He watches the girl frown and putting her head in her hands.
'This is to much information …. One, I have a history? This will be Ralph's job to explain. But the second think he said …. I will say closer to him. Three, August never lied to me! How can he know him? Anyways, he buys me clothes so I should accept his apology. But I will be the judge of him later.'
The girl sighs and puts her hood on. She doesn't have the energy to deal with her fury towards Angelo. Better not to see him. Dina puts the sunglasses she took from the car on and heads to the shop without looking at Angelo. She will look just at the clothes and have peace of mind. Just like a horse having blinders, that's how she feels right now.
Angelo keeps his distance and follows her. She looked kind of funny with that hood and bossy glasses on. Just like a mad girlfriend.
'Let her be … she probably has lots of thoughts…' He doesn't say anything and understands her behavior. It was no use getting mad at her for being ignored. That's her revenge on him for touching her plump butt.
The doors open and they are inside the shop.
She walks towards the dresses and stops staring at one of them. A red dress with thin braces having a conic form gives off a sexy pretty look.
'So pretty … but it will be tight on me …'
"Do you want it?" Angelo looks with admiration at the dress. "It is pretty … but wouldn't be tight on you?"
Dina turns to him and lowers her glasses glaring at him.
"I don't want to buy it." She looks one more time at the dress." I am not wearing dresses, anyways …" She swipes away and heads to the pants corner.
'She really wouldn't were it ….. it would definitely look pretty on her curvy body… '
Angelo looks at it on more time and follows the girl.
