Bab 184: I love you this deeply

"Admit that you are jealous," Wangjie said with a stern tone. 

"I'm not jealous," Ning Hua refuted, dismissing his accusation. "And why is His Highness pursuing me? Wasn't he with Bai Hé? He even requested me to give his fare," she grumbled.

"How do you have all these specifics? It appears you were observing me closely," he remarked, amusement glinting in his eyes as he locked gazes with her. "About the fare, I'll return it to you later," he stated. 

Ning Hua asked Wangjie to get away from her. "If anybody sees us like this, then they may inform your soon-to-be wife. I don't want to be labeled as a bad woman," she muttered, lowering her eyes for a moment. 

Wangjie decided to lean back when the carriage hit a large pebble on the road and he ended up pressing against Ning Hua. Their lips touched while his hand moved to hers in an attempt to hold someone. 

"Forgive me. There was a large pebble on the road!" The carriage driver said in a loud voice.
