Bab 208: There's no way out

Rhea and Draven, lost in a world of their own, continued to share a tender moment on the ground. As they kissed, Lilac stood nearby with a frown, peering down at them. Before she urgently reminded them of the lurking danger within the spell, breaking their trance.

Reality snapped back into focus for the couple. Draven, still overwhelmed by emotion, hugged his wife tightly before helping her up. Their hands entwined, a silent promise of never letting each other go again.

Draven held her close, then asked with concern, "How did you manage to find your way through the spell?"

Rhea, still catching her breath from the kiss they had just shared, replied, "Lilac. She led me through the spell. It's all thanks to her."

Gratitude filled Draven's eyes as he turned to Lilac. "You did well," he said sincerely, a rare expression of appreciation from him.
