Bab 76: Tracing Secret Place

The hope in Noa's heart grew as he received information about his father.

"I traced the bodyguard's route, and it led me to the city park. The bodyguard met someone there, and they discussed a bit about Professor Nijo. I couldn't hear everything, but I caught some words about a plan to take him to a laboratory nearby," So-Rin explained.

"In the city park? I don't think there's a laboratory there," Noa expressed his concern.

So-Rin nodded. "That's what you think. It appears to be a botanical garden, but the city park actually has an underground complex beneath it."

"Seriously?" Noa was taken aback.

"Yes, I saw it with my own eyes," So-Rin confirmed.

"Then take me there to investigate the laboratory!"

So-Rin hesitated. "It won't be easy to access. It's a secret facility, and I was only able to enter because I work as a programmer at Infrablack Software Corporation. They might not allow a soldier like you without a valid reason."
