Bab 92: Weakness

While Davis was trying his best not to appear obvious to their words, he still did say, "S-she misunderstood something about me." 

"Like?" Adam was cold and direct. 

Davis took a pause as his jaw tightened. His fingers were now curled into a fist when he finally blurted out, "She thought...I'm cheating on her. She had this misunderstanding and I was running behind her.... to make things clear...." 

Hearing this, Liam was shocked as hell. His wide eyes were evidence of the same. 

As he watched Davis's face from turning icy, he knew that this was no joke. 'So..Lucy caught Davis cheating on her? But wait! Is he cheating?' 

There  was no way he would accept that. How can this man cheat on Lucy when they were starting afresh? It didn't fit the setting at all. 

But then Liam remembered something. In his telephonic conversation with people, he had passed Davis's order of Sierra being restrained in a house. 

Her location was the same nearby hotel in which Lucy entered.
