Bab 131: Rage

Xia Xin found herself safely landing in a broad embrace. Groggy and caught between sleep and wakefulness, she only managed to catch a glimpse of Jing Mo's beautifully sculpted jawline. Then he lowered his head, his eyes filled with a rage she couldn't comprehend. He seemed to be saying something, but Xia Xin couldn't hear him; she fell into a drowsy stupor.

Ignoring the stares of onlookers, Jing Mo scooped Xia Xin up in his arms and swiftly left the film set. He drove Sun Hu's car, taking her straight home.

If Jing Mo didn't know that Xia Xin faints every time she's in danger, he'd be worried that she suffers from anemia or some other condition causing her frequent fainting spells. 

Suppressing his urge to take Xia Xin to the hospital, Jing Mo took her home. He had just placed her on the bed and pulled the covers over her when their dogs, Bobo and Layle, rushed in, gathering around Xia Xin with worried expressions.
