"Sure, no problem," Kushiro replied, pretending to agree. Kurozumi was pleased; he considered Kushiro his most reliable ally.
"Hmph, how interesting," Whitebeard smiled slightly. He had heard Kushiro and Kurozumi Orochi's conversation clearly and found their plan to counterattack funny.
"Let's see how you will fight me," Whitebeard said, not angry but rather curious to see their next move.
Tama, frustrated by Kurozumi Orochi's silence despite her accusations, couldn't hold back her emotion. She cried angrily, "You big villain! You murdered Lord Kozuki and seized control with the Kozuki family's power. You used dirty means to trick him, You can't hide forever!"
"How did you find out?" Kurozumi's heart raced as he heard Tama's accusation, fearing his secrets would be exposed to the world.
"Big villain like you will face retribution!" Tama said loudly.
Kurozumi Orochi's face darkened. Just then, Whitebeard spoke up again: "Forget it, let's take you back first. We'll deal with this later."
Upon hearing this, Kurozumi Orochi's expression shifted, and he whispered urgently, "Do it!"
At that moment, Kurozumi Orochi activated his Devil Fruit ability, transforming into Yamata no Orochi with eight dragon-like heads. His massive body loomed over the scene, each head resembling a dragon more than a snake.
One of the heads bore a distinctive Kurozumi mark, setting it apart from the others.
The big heads occasionally hissed menacingly, sending chills down the spine of anyone nearby.
Tama was immediately frightened by the sight before her and quickly backed away. She ran to the back and hugged Whitebeard's leg. Whitebeard gently touched her and reassured, "Don't be scared, I'll keep you safe."
As Whitebeard spoke, a cold light flashed. Kushiro drew his sword with the skill of a samurai, swiftly unsheathing it and delivering a powerful slash.
"You!" All of Kurozumi Orochi's snake heads fixed their gaze on Kushiro, filled with disbelief. Now, there were only seven snake heads remaining in total.
Unexpectedly, Kushiro didn't attack Whitebeard but instead turned and slashed directly at Kurozumi Orochi, catching him completely off guard and defenseless.
One of Kurozumi Orochi's snake heads was severed completely, crashing heavily to the ground. Despite the pain, Orochi was in shock.
"Kushiro, why? I trusted you!" Orochi looked at Kushiro with questioning eyes.
"Hmph, trust? I figured it out. You were planning to use me too," Kushiro said coldly.
Being exposed made Kurozumi Orochi immediately furious. He screamed, "Do you think Whitebeard will spare you if you turn against me?"
Until now, Kurozumi Orochi believed Kushiro had betrayed him to save himself in front of Whitebeard. However, Kushiro's actions and words made him realize he was also caught in an inescapable cycle.
Drawing his samurai sword with determination, Kushiro swore solemnly to Kurozumi Orochi, "I am Denjiro! I will forever be loyal to Kozuki Oden!"
"What? You're... you're..." Kurozumi Orochi's eyes widened in shock, leaving him speechless.
"Lord Kozuki Oden entrusted me with fulfilling Wano's dream of independence!" Denjiro declared solemnly.
Now Kurozumi Orochi realizes that Kushiro is actually Denjiro operating undercover. Since Kozuki Oden's death, Denjiro has been grieving and underwent great changes in appearance.
