Bab 402: 402 Wanokuni 04, Factories
Seeing the desolation, Whitebeard and his crew felt deep sorrow for the people. Their homeland was devastated, and Beast Pirates continued to bully the weak, adding to their anger.
"That's it, right?" Whitebeard asked, looking ahead. In the distance, a huge factory with numerous facilities covered over a large area.
"Yes, that's it, but it seems empty," Tama said, puzzled.
Normally, the factory would be bustling with workers and Kaido's subordinates patrolling the area, but today, no one was in sight.
"Guurarara, Kaido is quite clever,"
Whitebeard laughed. He realized Kaido had evacuated his personnel to concentrate all his power at his base, avoiding having his scattered forces picked off by Whitebeard.
Whitebeard controlled the Moby Dick onward until they reached the front of the factory, where the scent of steel filled the air.
"Whitebeard-sama, can you change this place?" Tama asked angrily. The factories had polluted the environment, and she felt only anger as she looked around.
Whitebeard was about to act, but then he paused to consider. Destroying such a huge factory seemed a waste, despite the serious pollution. If they could solve the sewage discharge and other problems, perhaps the factory could serve a beneficial purpose.

"Tama, what if we leave these factories and let the people of Wano take charge?" Whitebeard suddenly suggested to Tama.

Tama said, expressing her doubts and resistance.

The situation needs a change. Every country benefits from diplomacy and trade with others, which helps its own growth.
As Whitebeard spoke, Marco, Benjamin, and the others had a sudden realization. Benjamin exclaimed, "Yes! These factories can help Wanokuni recover. oYAJI has thought of everything. What amazing foresight!"
While Tama doesn't really understand what they are talking about, she's still worried about pollution: "But won't Wanokuni's environment get worse? How will everyone live here?"
Whitebeard smiled and glanced around the factory, quickly spotting where the sewage was being discharged.
"Come along." Whitebeard gently held Tama's hand and quickly guided her through the air to the spot where the sewage was discharged.
"The reason why the factory pollutes the environment is mainly because the waste water generated during production is discharged into the water source. I will destroy this now." Whitebeard explained to Tama.
After explaining, Whitebeard raised his hand, sending a powerful vibration that instantly shattered the discharge equipment, leaving everything clean.
Tama's wide-open mouth and her eyes spark with start seeing what Whitebeard can do.
Whitebeard added, "We'll rebuild the outlet and treat the waste water to stop it from polluting the environment."
Tama didn't understand much about these things, but seeing Whitebeard so sure, she nodded like a chicken
Whitebeard took Tama back to the ship and instructed Marco, "Mark the factories' locations on the map and send some crew members to take them over first."
"Got it," Marco agreed.
Following Tama's lead, Whitebeard and the others destroyed all the factory outlets. Some factories were left as empty shells, with nothing but the buildings remaining, as all the equipment had been removed.
However, all the factory equipment is still intact. It's clear that the Beast Pirates were in a hurry to retreat and didn't have time to fully evacuate everything. Whitebeard encountered no Beast Pirates or Kurozumi Orochi people along the way.
Besides the factories, Whitebeard visited several piers and ports. There were still no Beast Pirates there, but lots of goods remained there.
"These are what Kaido left behind. It's one of the few benefits he brought to Wanokuni," Marco chuckled.
These goods are mostly weapons. Whitebeard plans to distribute them to the people here. As a nation of warriors, the people of Wanokuni should appreciate swords.
However, these projects were too large for Whitebeard to handle alone, so he delegated them to the pirates fleet who arrived later.
"Oh, Whitebeard-sama, there's another place we need to go," Tama suddenly remembered.
"Where?" Whitebeard asked, curious.
"The prisoner Mine," Tama replied.
It turned out there was a quarry in Udon, where all the workers were captured prisoners. Many of these prisoners had been unjustly accused by the warden.
In such a chaotic country, Whitebeard doesn't expect any good thing and fair regulations.
When Whitebeard's ship, the Moby Dick, arrived at the quarry, the prisoners and staff all looked over in surprise.
"Whitebeard, Whitebeard is here!" one of the staff recognized him first, then yelled in excitement, before quickly fleeing the scene.
These people overseeing the prisoners were all under the Kurozumi family. They believed Whitebeard wouldn't interfere here, but they were surprised when he suddenly appeared.
So these people ran away in fear, and the prisoners were also a little scared after seeing Whitebeard.
After all, they didn't know Whitebeard, and they had already suffered at the hands of the Kurozumi family. Now everyone is filled with fear.
