Bab 386: 385 Enel Vs Kuzan, Time Skip
The surrounding land transformed into a glacier, creating a white landscape. However, no one was in the mood to appreciate it; the upcoming clash had everyone outside of Whitebeard's crew on edge.
Kuzan froze the surrounding land, then lifted it, forming an ice giant. This giant remained connected to the frozen landscape around it.
Enel's natural lightning and Kuzan's ice giant were about to collide fiercely, and everyone watched intently.
"Who do you think will win?" Charles Vane asked nervously.
"It's hard to say," Tesla replied seriously.
"Enel has the power of natural lightning. Even if its effect is weakened on Kuzan, the impact is still strong. Kuzan's ice giant, supported by the terrain, is also terrifying. The result will determine the outcome."
"I think they might both lose in the end," Jinbei said.
Only Marco remained silent, staring at the sky in amazement. This was a power Enel hadn't shown when fighting him. If Enel had used it earlier, Marco might have been defeated easily
"I'm really worried, I don't know if my defense can hold up against this kind of attack."
Jozu muttered to himself. Despite having the strongest physical defense, he felt uncertain.
"Kuzan!"
Enel shouted angrily, channeling the lightning from the sky into his body. The powerful force seemed uncontrollable as Enel, engulfed in rolling thunder, charged towards Kuzan.
Kuzan remained unfazed, directing the ice giant to meet Enel head-on. The ice on the ground continued to empower the giant as it faced Enel.
Soon, under everyone's watchful gaze, Enel and the ice giant collided, causing a burst of smoke to erupt. Marco and the others couldn't see what was happening, but they could hear the thunderous roar in the sky, along with the vibrating space.
The entire island shook violently from the immense force, creating cracks in all directions. The sky echoed with deafening noise, as if it were about to tear apart.
Just as the situation seemed to spiral out of control, a powerful shockwave suddenly separated Enel and Kuzan's ice giants, shielding each of them from the impact.
"Oyaji?" Enel was taken aback, then realized Whitebeard had intervened.
"If you keep fighting, the island will be destroyed," Whitebeard warned them.
Enel and Kuzan both halted, understanding that Whitebeard's concern wasn't for the island's destruction but for their safety. In the previous clash, there was no turning back. Continuing would only result in mutual defeat—both would be hurt.
Even so, Enel's body had taken a lot of shocks. Kuzan was relatively better off, but he had still been affected.
The battle ended in a draw, but Enel knew he wasn't Kuzan's match. Despite having the ability to restrain him, Kuzan's rich combat experience and strong physical skills proved too strong for him.
Whitebeard's intervention spared Enel from feeling humiliated. Regardless of Whitebeard's intentions, Enel thanked him for saving his face.

However, this was just a step towards Kaido's ultimate goal: an army of artificial Devil Fruit users.
Under Kaido's relentless pressure, Doflamingo's factory operated around the clock. Their secret collaboration had also been uncovered by someone's thorough investigation.
The person behind this discovery was Trafalgar Law. He not only uncovered the factory's location and other details but also devised a plan to destroy it. Law believed that if the factory was destroyed, Doflamingo would be unable to bear such lost under Kaido demand
This move might anger Kaido, leading him to deal with Doflamingo himself. Law wouldn't need to directly confront Doflamingo. Kaido's actions could weaken Doflamingo's influence, or even if Doflamingo emerged unscathed and the factory destroyed, it would diminish his ties with Kaido.
The factory was located beneath the Colosseum arena in Dressrosa. The Heart Pirates were sailing at sea when they encountered an unexpected situation on their way to Dressrosa.
"Captain, look ahead, there's a pirate ship," Bepo called out suddenly from the monitor room.
Law quickly emerged from the cabin to observe, and soon he spotted two vessels in the sea ahead. It was more like one ship and a small boat.
On the small boat, there was a bald child in a kimono who appeared very frightened. This triggers Law's curiosity. While he wasn't usually nosy, he wanted to understand why the child seemed so afraid.
"Get closer," Law ordered, and their submarine quickly accelerated, closing in on the other vessels.
The small boat was soon overtaken by the larger one. The child on board seemed anxious, but upon spotting Law's submarine emerging from the water, he began calling for help.
"Help, help!" the child shouted.
"Captain, the kid's asking for help. Should we help him?" Bepo asked with pleading looking bear eyes.
"Let's see the situation first," Law replied, cautious about acting hastily.
Suddenly, someone from the large boat leaped onto the small one, seemingly to catch the child. In a tense moment, the child transformed into a dragon and flew into the air.
