The journey to Raghen was nothing short of terribly uncomfortable for Abe. But even that did not manage to diminish his anticipation. He was looking forward to the time way from the capital. At the very front of his mind, he was terribly gratefully for all the politicking, schmoozing and boot-licking he wouldn't have to do for the next few months. And yet thoughts of how he would manage to accomplish that gargantuan task kept slipping in, trying to blacken his mood. They kept dampening his spirits whenever joy bubbled up over the remembered wonders from his formative years at the Academy. He was finally going back to the Academy.
