The final words of Marianne sounded in Lancelot's mind several times before he found himself walking along the rich streets of the noble district, having rejected her offer to give him a ride home.

Morgana was now back in her spirit form, clinging to him and making teasing remarks.

"Why did you leave? She even offered you the chance to stay over." Her fingertip stroked along his chin while pressing her cheeks against him, kissing them several times as she enjoyed his reactions to her.

"Because the eyes of Brunhilde and Hildegard were no joke!"

"Hmmm... yet you wanted to bed her, right?"

"Not as much as I wanted to bed you."

The two continued to bicker and flirt along the path home slowly, passing other noble kids studying late and maids rushing home with supplies to make delicious snacks for morning breakfasts.
