Bab 117: Combat Class (2)

Astride looked at the students with a wide, malicious grin. Without letting them have a moment to react, he grabbed the hilt of his sword.

Woosh!

Then, his arms tightened, veins bulging outwardly as he let out a wild, raccuos laugh that made the surrounding trees shake.

Despite the sword's gargantuan size, Astride wielded it like it was nothing.

Under the shocked gaze of everyone, Astride paused and flashed a grin. Then, he swung the sword horizontally!

Woosh!

The sword hit nothing but air. The students were puzzled, but some sharper ones had already reacted.

At that moment, the space cracked, then it was as if time itself stopped. It stilled, like a never-ending momentary pause.

Death itself arrived.

A mere sword strike had fractured space and cut even a "second" of time.

Boom!

Then, time resumed——the air exploded into a sonic boom. A messy sight occurred in the forest.
