Bab 65: Chapter 65: Meeting the Two Survivors.

"Greetings. My name is Turles, and these are my aides. Introduce yourselves." Turles told the two while waving his tail in visible sight of the figure hiding further in the house.

"My name is Dende. We're Namekians, just like you!" Dende eagerly shared.

"I'm Cargo. We're here for the dragon ball that's inside your house!" Cargo told them the reason for their visit.

"Greetings, strangers. I go by Monaito. The dragon ball? Well, that things useless without…" His eye caught the tiny little orange ball raised in Cargo's hand. "Well, I'll be… That thing's been lost for 30-odd years or so. How'd you little buggers manage to find it?" Monaito smiled at Dende and Cargo.

"With our Dragon Radar! This thing can sense dragon balls and help us find them!" Cargo proudly admitted.

"My goodness…" Monaito couldn't believe what he was hearing.

"Pretty cool, huh?!" Cargo brought his hands to his waist.

"I'd say. Did you know that the dragon balls were used as part of a ritual to celebrate brave Namekian warriors? They weren't meant to be misused by granting any ol' selfish wish. Are you two boys brave Namekian warriors?" Monaito smiled while asking the two of them.

"We're really strong!" Cargo nodded.

"Our power level is pretty big." Dende shyly admitted.

"Why don't you two show me a little bit of your power? Just so this old man can be really, really sure you two are as strong and brave as you say. Then I can give you the dragon ball." Monaito grinned.

"Let's do that move we were practicing with the princesses!" Cargo excitedly bounced in place.

"Okay!" Dende nodded.

The two Namekians rushed over to an open area of the hill. Turles, Monaito, and the mysterious third person who finally decided to show himself looked on at the two children. Turles's tail swished in the gentle breeze as he locked eyes with Granolah. Granolah's eyes couldn't help but glance at his tail, breaking their eye contact. The Saiyan Emperor gave a diplomatic smile as he greeted the survivor of a Saiyan invasion.

"Turles. Who might you be?" Turles held out his hand for a nice, friendly handshake.

Granolah coldly stared at Turles's hand. Then he shook it. Instantly, the two gauged each other's power through physical prowess alone. Granolah couldn't help but maliciously grin when he saw Turles put on a pained grimace from the strength of his arm. "I am Granolah. The last of the Cerealians." He introduced himself. "You got a strong grip, Granolah. Can't say I ever heard of any Cerealians before." Turles looked relieved when Granolah finally released his hand.

"You may not know of them, but I know your kind all too well." He inched his face closer to Turles as he whispered this statement.

"Ah, yeah." Turles looked embarrassed. "Us Saiyans don't have the best reputation, but we're not all bad people. Is that why you were shaking my hand so hard? You think I'm going to do something bad?" Turles rubbed his aching hand.

"Your tribe is only known for slaughtering innocents and other wicked acts. Why shouldn't I think this way?" Granolah stared into Turles's eyes with seething hatred behind them.

Just as Turles was about to respond, A giant beam of energy fired off toward the ruined remains of a destroyed town. Cargo and Dende unleashed a combined beam attack to show that they were brave Namekian warriors. Monaito didn't realize what they were going to do, so he was helpless to stop them from aiming at the ruins. With a pained expression on his face, he reached out with his hand, desperately hoping to somehow stop the blast from reaching its intended target. Knowing how much that place meant to Granolah.

"NOOO!!!" Granolah sped off away from Turles.

Just barely, he managed to reach the destroyed town in time. He crossed his arms and blocked the beam, taking the full brunt of the attack. Turles walked to Dende and Cargo, who were frantically apologizing to Monaito. Speaking over each other to show just how sorry they were when they saw the pained look on his face. Turles disapproved of their behavior, but they were still nothing but children. As his aides, they have yet to fully understand their position in the universe compared to others. "It's… it's fine. It's not your fault, kids. I should've told you beforehand." Monaito tried to fake a smile, but the kids saw right through it. "Let me go soothe, Granolah. That was the only remains of the boy's family. He's not going to be taking it lightly. Give me a moment." Monaito was about to make his way over to Granolah, but in a flash, Granolah appeared in front of them!

His arm was cocked back, ready to swing on Turles with all of his strength behind it. Dende and Cargo's eyes widened in shock as they saw the heavily injured state Granolah was in. Turles was struggling to keep himself from smiling. "We're sorry, Granolah! We didn't know!" Dende desperately tried to convince Granolah. "Shut it! Even peaceful species like Namekians can be corrupted when raised by a savage race like you, Saiyans! You will pay for your crimes against the Cerealians!" He swung his fist.

Granolah's fist made contact with Turles's chin and sent him flying. Dende and Cargo's eyes followed Turles's flying figure with absolute astonishment. They both clicked on their scouters and scanned Granolah's battle power. "He's strong, but he isn't at a level that'll break the scouter like when we tried with Lord Turles that one time…" Cargo noted. Granolah had a power level of over 99,999+.

Dende knew it was an impressive battle power compared to the majority of the universe, but it didn't mean much to Dende and Cargo. They spent their time around people constantly with power levels above the energy reading limit of the scouter. The Crusher Force, the princes and princesses, and occasionally the soldiers undergoing the tests to replace the Crusher Force now that they were known as the Commanders of the Planet Trade Organization. Both Namekians understood that, for some reason, Lord Turles was acting weaker than he actually was. Since they didn't know what Lord Turles was up to, they kept quiet as they watched.

Cargo and Dende watched as Turles was given a one-sided beatdown while desperately trying to explain that it was a simple mistake. The explosive impact of Granolah's fist sent Turles careening through the air. His body made a crater on landing. Granolah, relentless in his pursuit of revenge, closed the distance with incredible speed. A flurry of strikes followed, a relentless storm of punches and kicks. Turles, seemingly unable to react, absorbed blow after blow. Each hit reverberated through his body.

Turles, usually a master of combat, now staggered under the onslaught. Granolah, fueled by the memories of his eradicated people, unleashed a barrage of attacks that left Turles reeling. The Saiyan Emperor struggled to find his footing, his attempts to counter or dodge proving futile against the onslaught of precision strikes. "This is for every life your kind extinguished!" Granolah's voice cut through the chaos as he delivered a punishing knee to Turles's midsection. Turles doubled over, gasping for breath. Blood stained the corner of his mouth, a stark contrast to his usual composed demeanor. Granolah, his eyes ablaze with fury, seized Turles by the hair, forcing him to look into the abyss of his impending defeat. "You Saiyans are nothing but a blight in the universe!" Granolah's words were punctuated by a vicious elbow to Turles's face, sending him sprawling once again.

As Turles struggled to get up, Granolah aimed another punch at Turles's face. This time, he caught it with his palm. "Are you genuinely throwing a tantrum over a mistake made by children? Or are you using me as a way to release some frustration? Either way, your grievances are misdirected. I had enough of this pointless scuffle. If you have issues with Saiyans, let's talk. Violence won't solve anything, and it's certainly not the way to address the mistakes of these young Namekians. Look at the face of your mentor. You've been ignoring his pleas for you to stop all this time, and for what? Some misguided sense of anger?" Turles lectured him with blood leaking down his lip.

"I won't hear any of your crap, Saiyan! You've murdered my family! You killed the Cerealians! I won't stop until you're dead, or I am!" Turles was struck directly in his heart, an important vital point.

He clutched his chest with a pained groan as he stepped backward. "Once I'm finished with you, I'll deal with your boss, Frieza, next!" Granolah started charging up to full strength before focusing all of the energy in his body on his index finger and middle finger. A minuscule green orb appeared in front of his fingers. A frightening amount of energy was fueling that orb. It was strong enough to carve a ravine right through the planet! But even lost in his rage, Granolah wasn't stupid enough to destroy his home even further than it had already been destroyed.
