Outside the living room where Suri and the young man engaged in a serene conversation, Maxieno stood with his arms folded, wearing a sour expression. Even some passing servants and maids preferred to take a detour rather than have to pass through him, afraid of rubbing him in the wrong way.

Arielle, who was going to accompany her daughter, tilted her head when she saw Maxieno outside the room. The man had indeed gotten her permission to leave the pavilion as long as he didn't disturb the palace workers.

"Maxieno, what are you doing there?" asked Arielle kindly.

"Waiting for your daughter who is enjoying her time with another man," Maxieno responded curtly.

"Maxieno..."
