Bab 111: Sense Of Possessiveness

"When my servant was injured the first time, I tried to close my eyes because I valued you. You are my best warriors. I thought you needed some time to adjust to the existence of a human who appeared so suddenly in your midst. Did you take my warning as a passing wind?"

Some dragons instantly lowered their heads. It was not because they felt a pang of guilt, but because they were afraid to see Maxieno looking strangely calm. The man rarely showed such kinds of expression. It was like the calm before a storm.

Maxieno stood up. "I need one of you to tell me what happened. Otherwise, I will blow your heads and see for myself what you have done to my servant."

Then, the door swung open again. Eve arrived with a very graceful stride. The woman walked slowly towards her master, then greeted him elegantly.

"My Lord, allow me to speak. I have witnessed what happened to your servant, Edna."

Maxieno studied Eve from head to toe with watchful eyes.
