Bab 96: Without Stairs

During the day, Edna was summoned by one of the dragons to drain the well behind their house. Then, she was also ordered to sweep the yard and do various kinds of work that were completely endless. Edna was starting to feel tired, but those dragons didn't care at all. They followed Maxieno's order to use Edna as they pleased.

Edna just finished repairing the roof of one of the houses when Luffy appeared.

"Hey, Edna. What were you doing in my house?"

"Oh, this is your house?"

"Yeah. And why did you bring a ladder? It's already night. You shouldn't be here."

"I just finished repairing your leaky roof."

Lufft frowned. "My leaky roof? I don't have any leaky roofs, Edna ... Could they do this on purpose? I'll talk to my brother."

Edna held Luffy's hand and shook her head. "No need. Maybe when you were away, lightning in broad daylight hit your house. Let it be. I'm actually happy because at least I proved that I can be a good servant."
