"Otis, who was that woman? Why didn't Lord Max accept her like the other women before him?"

"Violet. His ex-partner."

Violet… That was Luffy's mate.

Edna held her hand a bit tighter. She wanted to ask something, but would it be alright? What if she was deemed rude?

"Otis, does… Lord Max often bring women with him to his room?"

Otis shook his head. "I am also confused. Lord Max doesn't have a mate at the moment. Not that he could be this free. Lord Max did have many lovers, but never was he accompanied almost every night by this many women. Edna … has … something happened to Lord Max while he was on another continent? I've tried asking Luffy, but the kid isn't saying anything."

Edna shook her head quickly to hide the fact that she had slept with her master twice.

"When will Lord Max find his mate?"

"No one knows, Edna. No one really knows when a dragon finds their mate."
