As I sprinted through the ethereal battlefield, a thick veil of fog enveloping the air, my heart pounded relentlessly within my chest. 

The cacophony of clashing swords and anguished screams reverberated in my ears, intensifying the sense of urgency that surged through my veins. By my side, Rickie, eyes scanning the mystical surroundings for any lurking danger, remained steadfast and loyal.

"Alpha!" Ben's voice cut through the chaos behind us, causing both Rickie and me to pivot on our heels. Heaving breathlessly, anxiety etched across his face, Ben delivered his urgent message.

"Alpha, we have stumbled upon irrefutable evidence that more infiltrators plague our ranks. They have been responsible for divulging our meticulously designed military strategies to the malevolent hill country army." Ben's words pierced through me like a dagger to the gut. The confirmation of my suspicions dealt a bitter blow.
