I'm curious about the source of her bravery.

No human I have ever seen has shown as much bravery as she did. The other humans I had encountered before tended to be more cunning and self-centered, but the one in front of me is entirely different. Despite this, her words and bravery were unable to quell my rage.

I had a jolt of wrath and a yearning for retribution. If the Gammas had been more cautious, Stacey wouldn't have brutally killed Cerise by slamming a boulder into her head from behind.

"Out of the way, Lana."

Even when I treated her like a toy that I could play with any time I felt like playing some adult games, I had never been this cruel to her before.

"If you're going to kill them, kill me first."

She positioned herself as if she were a young woman chosen as a sacrifice to be presented to the moon goddess by spreading her hands out in front of her.
