While everyone else was fixated on Alpha Cedric, I watched Lana, whose eyes kept darting to my side so that she could keep an eye on her naive friend Cerise, who had come over to my side after breaking up with her.

But I'll give you a hint about why I called Cerise foolish.

I referred to her as foolish since she had given away so much for nothing more than milk, Sunday toast, and the phony concern that we had shown her when she had thrown herself into my arms without first informing me.

Over a minor point of contention, a friend who would reveal another friend's private information is nothing short of foolish.

I saw how she kept an eye on Cerise; she still cared for the lost soul even though he was unaware of the mess she had already made of her and what my friends had done to stick up for her.
