"Water Style: Tsunami!" Yukari did as she placed her hands on the surface of the water. Infusing it with her chakra, she molded the water into a colossal wave that surged forward, reaching a towering height of a hundred meters.
The ground trembled as the wave crashed into the sturdy stone wall her mother had erected around the lake. While the wall managed to withstand the impact, some sections cracked and crumbled, falling into the water below.
Mastering the water chakra nature was Yukari's final goal, and she found it to be the most enjoyable of all the elements. The fluidity and versatility of water fascinated her, and it felt like she had gained a new companion to play with.
With hours of practice, her water manipulation skills improved significantly. She could now create massive waves, manipulate water vapor in the air, and even freeze it by combining it with her wind nature.
After perfecting various water techniques, such as creating whirlpools and summoning dragons made of water, Yukari had finally mastered all the elements. However, she yearned to create the ultimate technique her mother had shown her: the Truth-Seeking Orb.
This devastating attack combined all the elements, including yin and yang, resulting in a destructive force capable of nullifying any matter within its range. The power and potency of this technique were awe-inspiring.
With a relieved exhale, Yukari was finally able to bid farewell to the monotonous mountain surroundings after weeks of grueling training. The endless expanse of rocks and dirt had become tiresome, and she longed for a change of scenery.
It had only been a little over a year since she completed the majority of her mother's teachings, and now she was eager to put her skills into practical use. She couldn't help but ponder how long it would take an average human, with their limited chakra, to achieve the same level of mastery.
Perhaps it would take them decades, she mused with a hint of amusement. The thought of humans wielding chakra for war seemed utterly ridiculous to her. Having been raised by her brilliant mother, who had been betrayed by her foolish father, Yukari saw through the facade of humanity's true nature. She couldn't fathom anyone being foolish enough to entrust chakra to them.
Floating gracefully in the air, Yukari made her way towards the towering God tree where her mother was diligently engrossed in her work. Entering the cave where the white Zetsu resided, a mischievous plan took shape in her mind.
Using her genjutsu to render herself invisible, she silently approached her oblivious mother and playfully exclaimed, "BOO!" Startled, her mother jumped, causing her already pale complexion to fade even further. "Oh, sweetie, how could you scare your mommy like that?" she chided with a playful glare.
Her mother teasingly acted dejected, feigning small tear drops as she said, "Hmph, my daughter doesn't love me anymore. She just wants to scare her poor mother to death." Yukari couldn't help but giggle as she tightly hugged her mother, assuring her, "No, Mom, I love you so much! I just wanted to surprise you since I've finally mastered all the chakra natures."
"Oh, my sweetie, that's wonderful!" Kaguya exclaimed with joy. "Although I only have a few tricks up my sleeve, I hope you'll be able to master them all to their fullest potential and continue to come up with new ones." Curious about her mother's ongoing experiments, Yukari inquired, "Are your experiments yielding any success?"
Kaguya motioned for her to follow a path within the cave, leading them to a group of white Zetsu. What caught their attention was the fact that each Zetsu was of a different size, some larger than others. "By combining their chakra, I've managed to successfully merge them," Kaguya explained happily. "However, it requires maintaining an equal ratio. If it's 1+1=2, a new Zetsu is formed. But if it's, say, 1+2=3, it causes them to fail to merge and results in an explosive outcome."
"So, did their power increase?" Yukari asked. Her mother had previously mentioned that although the merged Zetsu were still fragile, they possessed enough strength to pulverize a tree with a single punch. Her mother felt confident that with further merging, she could create a formidable Zetsu capable of obliterating an entire village.
"Now, our focus will mainly be on sparring," her mother explained. "Since I have nothing else to teach you, I'll control some puppets to simulate multiple opponents, helping you get accustomed to fighting against multiple foes. However, we'll be taking a month-long break. We could also go on a trip together, as I know you were excited about me doing your makeup."
Yukari's eyes sparkled with excitement upon hearing about the trip. "That sounds amazing, Mother! Where should we go?" she asked eagerly. Kaguya smiled and replied, "I was thinking of taking you to a hot spring." Yukari's anticipation grew as she listened to her mother's plans. "I can't wait to go, Mom. All this training really took a toll on me."
Agreeing with her daughter, Kaguya nodded and said, "Yes, a relaxing soak in a hot spring will be rejuvenating for both of us. It will also give us a chance to explore more of the world." Yukari nodded, already envisioning herself immersed in the warm waters amidst breathtaking surroundings.
"When do we leave?" she inquired eagerly. Kaguya chuckled and replied, "Patience, my dear. We still need to prepare and make arrangements. But I promise you, it will be worth the wait."
"Sweetie, let's head home. It's been a while since you've seen your brothers. They have grown quite powerful as well. When you return, you should spar with them," her mother advised, opening a portal to their home.
Yukari followed her mother excitedly, feeling a sense of nostalgia and longing to reunite with her siblings. "Hmm, I'll definitely spar with them. I did miss them," she softly murmured the last part. Observing her daughter's tsundere behavior once again, Kaguya chuckled and found it endearing.
