Bab 192: Pressed Under the Water

When Huo Zheng returned to the car, Lin Xiaowan was wrapped up in the small blanket and leaning against the car door, looking at her phone. She looked listless probably because she was sleepy. After all, it was past midnight, and it was past her bedtime. The short nap earlier was not enough to wake her up.

When Huo Zheng opened the car door, the strong wind blew in accompanied by the sound of heavy rainfall. He quickly closed the door and removed his jacket. Although he had an umbrella, his jacket was slightly wet. After that, he pulled her into his arms and took her phone away. He said gently, "You're holding the phone so close to your face again."

Lin Xiaowan did not complain about her phone being taken away. She shifted into a more comfortable position and rubbed her eyes as she asked, "Where's Lu Yingxin?"

"I sent her to the police station so she can be punished by the law."

"Huh? Why did you have to come here then?" Lin Xiaowan asked in confusion.
